Atlanta Vol talking about Beaver and the betting lines:

As far as Beaver is concerned.

I won’t go into the details of our conversation as that was private. But what i can tell you from the conversation is that i do believe he has some good connections inside the organization side on the booster level. He is simply running around and playing golf in places that you simply can’t do unless you are highly connected...and i don’t just mean that from a university perspective...
I would say he probably has family that is highly connected to the program...but that is just a guess.

I don’t have any reason to doubt what he is hearing and passing along here. I am also not going to say whatever he says is 100% either. I take what he says as guidance and I think he probably does the same with what I have told him I am hearing. And we make our own conclusions by that.

this betting line stuff however is nuts....I don’t care what site etc...any swing like that represents “smart money” not just cattle money....

I think this is more of an argument against Nebraska than for it. Same argument as why Peyton would never wanna coach here.

The main reason I’m not sure Frost ends up at Nebraska is because the recruiting grounds there aren’t great. One of the reasons he waited and chose UCF to become a HC at was because he wanted to be somewhere he could easily recruit the athletes he needs in his system. I’m not sure Nebraska offers that and that he’d want his image soiled there if things don’t go well for him.

Not saying Frost will be our coach next year, but I don’t think it’s a sure thing he’ll end up there. He’ll have a lot of options on where to coach next year not just Nebraska or UT.

Both reasons. Better to stay a legend than risk your legacy. And it'll be next to impossible to beat the east team they play in the b10 title game with the crappy recruiting they have to deal with.

Another post from Atlanta Vol

From my perspective I put my odds at JG coming at 65-70%. I don’t think it is a done deal per se like MIT does....but i could certainly be wrong...I Had multiple smoke screens thrown my way throughout the week. Earlier in the week i was 50/50 but man there is so much pointing to this thing getting done and the right people to get it done being involved that I feel like it will be a total collapse on our side if it falls through. So I am hopeful...and let me also be clear. In the event i got word that this deal was 100% done before it was announced I would never give that out in this forum...not my place to do that and certainly there are some things you just let play out....and I have a role with this university that I don’t want to jeapordize So enjoy the ride..

In regards to butch...that ship sailed...I didn’t however hear anything in regards to this timing i have been seeing after the KY game. I also haven’t really asked that question though. My focus and attention has been ensuring the program know where i stand on the current situation and also trying to help keep some of these recruits at bay while the ship is falling apart if that makes sense.

I actually believe the ATL guy, but is he maybe getting some of the misinformation? Just a thought...I want to believe!

Another tidbit about how legit Atlanta Vol is

I may not ask Currie information about this situation directly...but I can assure you I am looking him in the eye on a pretty regular basis. Was on field pre game with him for multiple games this season...and he was around me and the GOAT at GT game for a bit...so I am pretty comfortable with what I hear and how I hear it. And rest assured while this may sound like bragging...its not. Just trying to give you and understanding of my connection with the program. you can believe me or not...won’t bother me either way.
