They get to see like 5-7 minutes of practice. They haven’t seen anything more than we have on practice clips. No one knows anything about what this team will look like, except the coaches and the players.

We all get to find out in a little over 9 hours.

I think it's based more on what they haven't seen than what they have seen.

I have a feeling that this team BELIEVES they can win.

A big part of football is attitude and leadership. The end of last season shows that clearer than anything. The team lacked focus and leadership. Many say they quit. I won't call them quitters, to me its like everyone stopped pulling in the same direction.

That won't happen this year. We now have a leader in our head coach and leaders on this staff.

I'm not saying we win out this year, but I am saying we dominate in all phases of the game tomorrow. I'm still sticking with my original score of 34-23, but it won't as close as the score indicates.

Pruitt is gonna open some eyes tomorrow, show that we do have some talent on this team, with the key word being TEAM.

Good post. I agree. As far as quitting, I don't think they quit just that they stopped believing they could win in that situation with those coaches and that system. I'm not sure butch believed he could win anymore and that lack of confidence at the top filters down. Pruitt doesn't lack in confidence or competence. And the team will reflect that.

The players do believe they'll win. They just need to believe it the whole game and not get rattled by adversity. WVU's going to make big plays and score some points. We may have FR mistakes and shaky decisions by the QB. We could have TOs. We could get behind early and have to battle back. Gonna be hard not to think "Here we go..." if they put up points quickly and we can't match them. But our gameplan gives us an advantage late in the game when WVU's thin defense is hot and tired. So let's win this thing!

You are exactly right, perfectly scripted, but the KEY is can this coaching staff make our players believe this and anticipate adversity--- knowing it will happen during the game is half the battle and the other half is how you respond.
If we don't roll over when it hits, we just may win this thing. I think fortunately or unfortunately, this win or loss will be more on the coaching staff to see if they have this UT team MENTALLY ready for four quarters.
