They have a good shot at it. The offense may be better than last year but replacing shaquem and a couple guys in the secondary will be tough. If the defense can be close to as good as last year UCF will win a lot of games. Milton finished 8th in the Heisman as a sophomore so he is at least on their radar.UCF probably has to go undefeated again for Milton to have a shot at it. Based on stats Penny from SDSU probably should've had more hype last year but his team wasn't good enough

They have a ton of returning talent especially on offense. And the way the coaches overlapped in December is allowing Huepel to keep all the language the same as frost's and a lot of the same system while incorporating his. So the offense shouldn't be a huge transition. The defense has talent but going from a 34 to 43 and losing its leader Shaquem and best cornerback to the nfl and a starting safety transfer to Nebraska will make it tough. The dl should be good and there's some talent at lb and db but it is unproven.Yeah I trust Heupel as an offensive coach and Shannon is definitely a good DC, but having zero coaching continuity is a hurdle. Going undefeated is hard enough but their schedule does play out nicely
He kept the same language as frost and a lot of the same concepts just added maybe a little more downfield stuff which milton was one of the best deep passers in the country last year. I love frost and he will be hard to replace but I'm not worried about that offense at all.I like Huepel but Frost is hard to replace. It’ll be interesting to see how he does.
