He’s fine and did what we needed him to this year. Love him forever for coming in and not being afraid to take on a tough job. That said, we badly need to spend on a 1 year elite QB and give Brandon and GMac a year to get settle and battle it out. We have a hard ceiling with Joey and it’s just not good on the mental of a QB to have them out their as a true freshman in the modern game.

To be clear, we're not losing this game because of talent. This is 100% on coaching. Defense is terrible and the offense is inconsistent. Heupel has to make some changes this offseason for the program to progress...if he doesn't already have one foot out the door. He's definitely been acting a lot more subdued lately.

Maybe he will go to Penn st. Yall can be happy when we suck for 20 more years.

There’s more good coaches out there than Heupel. I don’t think he deserves to be canned tomorrow, but there needs to be some tough convos with him on how he manages things moving forward. But this line of thinking is dumb as hell. Firing Heupel ≠ sucking for 20 years. Danny white is capable.
