Is it ok to say this season is a disappointment?

Yes and no.

If we end up 10-2 with a really decent bowl, it will have exceeded preseason expectations by anything we would have dared imagine. And also, losing the hope of the playoff (especially like this) is a kick to the groin.

best I can say to the coaches at the moment is, "Well, thanks for making us feel entitled. It's more than we expected."
