Well, just got caught up on the thread and was starving as the discussion about brunch was taking place. I throw in my two cents here. If you love chocolate chip pancakes, which I do, go to a place in Gatlinburg called the Pancake Pantry. You get an enormous amount of good for a reasonable price. They also have awesome French Toast and an amazing strawberry waffle. If u haven't been there, please try it. It's worth every penny, IMO. :)

A snake in the snow? Really? Just when u think u have seen it all? Lol.

There is one in Nashville and the line is forever. Tried the one in Gatlinburg, but I didn't get pancakes because I'm dumb.

You aren't the only one that didn't get pancakes because I've never gotten pancakes there. I'm too hung up on the French toast and strawberry waffle but I did try my husbands pancakes though. :)

So we have:

Brunch: I don't care what you call it, I'll eat anything, anytime. Just finished off breakfast and time for brunch? No problem.

Pancakes: Grew up on blueberry, but chocolate chip (heavy on the chips) pancakes are the norm with two young daughters. Plus, chocolate goes with every meal. Chocolate gravy? Oh yeah.

Nashville eateries: Finally tried The Southern. Did. Not. Disappoint. One of the best in town.

Snakes in snow?!?!?! *cold shiver*

Haven't tried it. Want to.

Hot chicken>>chicken tho

I like "hot chicken", but everyone else just calls that buffalo chicken in the rest of the country...

I like fried chicken where the heat and spice are embedded in the chicken itself.
