Oh my God, I can't take this anymore. It's "dominant" damnit! Dominate is a verb, and dominant is an adjective.

The amount of people doing this on VN is killing me.

Lol. Glad I could contribute to your mental breakdown. :eek:lol:

Most of us are too badass to use just adjectives so we sub in those action words instead.

I am not completely certain, but I believe that a more grammatically correct phrasing would be:

A grammar policeman has arrived.

Or, you could try:

The grammar police have arrived. If you meant more than one policeman arrived.

You're welcome!!

Technically speaking neither of you are correct. The proper term is Police person. Its neither gender specific anymore.

They remind people that they are to be addressed as "Officer". So official for someone making 28k per year sporting the crew cut.

Depends on how pissed off you are...I think Mock (in his present state)used the correct connotation. :geek:

You aren't kidding! If I saw it just once I would have done my usual joking around since it's still an egregious error (Like I would expect a 10 year old to be able to differentiate the two), but I have seen many, many posters do this.

Yes, my jimmies have entered the stratosphere.
