Husband and I are probably going to Panama City Beach next year for vacation. Maybe we will drop by there and say "hey" and Go Vols from Volnation. You better still be there and if you're not I will be pi$$ed because we came all that way to say 'Hi" and you weren't there.:p

Go to a tournament some day. You will be blown away. I've played with guys in high school who ended up in the NFL, MLB, and MLS. Some of those Frisbee players are every bit the athlete those guys were. If you love in Knoxville, try to make the annual Dave Baldwin tournament one day.

Edit admittedly the guys I saw in college were as good as the pro players I played with while they were in high School, but still, some of those teams at Florida, UNC, Colorado were just have some sick athletes.

Like the other poster mentioned, I've heard "Name of the Wind" series is good but incomplete. A friend also recommended "The Blade Itself."

I aim to read them all, eventually. Already completed all the GOT and waiting eagerly for the next instillation.

Zelalem started for arsenal today. Good chance to get a glimpse of someone who could be the future of the USMNT. Ridiculous that he's only 17.

Definitely an exciting time in us soccer. Lots of hope for the future. I'm curious about our keepers coming up. There's a couple of decent young guys, but I don't see any locks to be studs.

I Met An Older Woman At The Bar Last Night

She looked pretty good for a 60+year-old. In fact, she wasn't too bad at all, and I found myself thinking she probably had a really hot daughter.

We drank a couple of beers, and she asked if I'd ever had a Sportsman's Double?

'What's that? I asked.

'It's a mother and daughter threesome,' she said.

As my mind began to embrace the idea, and I wondered what her daughter might look like, I said, 'No, I haven't.'

We drank a bit more, then she said with a wink, 'tonight's your lucky night.'

We went back to her place. We walked in. She put on the hall light and shouted upstairs: "Mom...you still awake?"

Any of my off topic brethren looking to do a fantasy football league? I'd love to do one with some of the guys, or gals, on here.

awesome! i'm not a great GM. If we can find someone with some GM experience to get one started, I definitely think we could fill out a fun league. and by fun, I obviously mean cutthroat competitive.

I am definitely interested. I have been a GM before but honestly its too much of a headache.

Ok maybe I want to give another shot at being a GM for a fantasy football league. Is this the right thread to talk about it or should we create a new one somewhere else?
