Ultimate Frisbee has control of the "athletes not good enough to play a major sport" candidate pool.

Exactly. Right on the edge athletes that could probably play d2 but chose to go to a big school instead of play low level sports.

So like Ive mentioned before... I work behind the bar at Dave and Busters in Panama City Beach.... I have a nametag that has UT Vols on it.... Tons of people come in decked out in UT gear and to every one I see, I give a "Go Vols".... Ive been doing this everyday since we opened 3 or 4 months ago.... and I still havent met any of yall on this board....

I was in Pensacola. Blue Angels were awesome!

Make no mistake, they're playing low-level sports.

Haha I meant getting a scholarship. I'm not ignorant enough to think Frisbee is a high level sport, but they do have some insane athletes scattered among all the average guys like me.

POA, we were at PCB all of last week. After battling the traffic and congestion to try to get a parking spot to go eat at Pompano Joe's, I decided I did not want to deal with Pier Park anymore that week. I had all intentions of stopping by and saying hey. Had to get back to the condo and get the little one to bed after eating dinner. I wore my Vols gear all week down there.

Yeah, I have to go to work early everyday and do laps around the parking lot until I see someone pull out

Dang... y'all hatin'.

I'm all about the disc. When you get older (30+) it's a great way to still play hard without getting yourself killed... though you'll feel like death for 4 days afterwards. Everywhere I've played, we've gone hard. I got my face stepped kicked with the bottom of some cleats, split my eye open, and just slid my bandana over it and kept going.

I bet the folks who are knocking it are top level athletes. lol

(off my soapbox, going to bed), hearing mods footsteps. This will all be gone when I wake up. :D

I hear ya', man! That's what I had to do, too. Actually ended up parking almost right behind your building, then walk all the way back to PJ's. If it wasn't so congested, I would have liked to come back to Pier Park and see what all is there. Only reason we came there is because other places we were trying to eat at had an hour+ wait. We went 3 different nights, trying to eat at Boondock's. Finally went at 4:30 on Friday and walked right in...overrated IMO. Best food IMO was at Bonefish Grill, Boar's Head, and a sushi place on Front Beach Rd.

You owe it to yourself if you are ever near the MS gulf coast to stop at The Shed Barbecue & Blues Joint. There are three, but I like the original in Ocean Springs. Be hungry and thirsty. You may be there awhile.
