I don't have cable/satellite. I use the Watch ESPN app/website during football season. Otherwise, I don't watch much TV. Probably why I don't watch baseball anymore. No time! I stopped having much free time when I moved to Louisville and went to school (Masters) full time while working full time. Just too much life... I enjoy getting on VN during slow times at work, but that probably won't last long.

I'm working on my Masters too. It's not been bad. Work full time, kid playing ball, and husband/father duties.

J/k I'm about to drop at any minute

Hang in there! It will be worth it for the degree!

I got an MDiv at SBTS = 94 hours. 9 hours is full time. I worked full time + school full time for 2 years, then went part time school. Finished in Dec., 2009. I've been catching up on parenting and husbanding for the last 5 years. Also serve part time at my church.

When you get a chance, BBC has a bourbon barrel stout. Every time I go to Louisville, a pint of that is a must!

I work 3 12/hr shifts each week. That gives me plenty of time to get the other stuff done. It has been easier than I thought but I have a year and a half remaining.

Sometimes feel overwhelmed but it most definitely will be worth it.

Watching a World Cup US game with a bunch of other people who are interested will make even the most disinterested person want to do it again and again. It's a blast.

Hell yes it is.

Easiest way to convert almost anybody.

If anyone doubts, just watch those reaction videos. Its AWESOME.

Spain-Chile game starts in 30 mins. Must win game for Spain. Chile has two of the best in the world in Sanchez and Vidal. If Chile wins or they tie, Spain is out. If Spain wins, they put Chile in a position to have to take points off of the Netherlands in the last game. Should be a cracker.

It will be worth it. My tough years were when I was working 40 hrs third shift, going to school full time, and caring for a friend with MD daily (did this from 21 to 25, last part of BA and first year of MA). Was almost more than I could handle. Sometimes I felt broken. Then there were semesters while getting my PhD at UT in clinical psychology that I was so busy that my wife would travel to visit my family on the weekend and I would stay home. Was a very tough time for us.

However, now I am a few months away from tenure at a great university and am able to care for my family well. It was all worth it. God had blessed above and beyond what I ever deserve. He deserves all honor and praise. I deserve none, and sure am grateful.

I'm stoked.

Saltine or Ritz? :) Go Chile, I freakin' hate the flopping spaniards!

A sport is where two people directly compete with each other. Which is why golf and cheerleading aren't sports as the WSM, Soccer, and possibly NASCAR are.

By your definition football, baseball, soccer, basketball, rugby, etc are not sports.

Two people or teams. So skeeball is a sport then? So is playing call of duty by that definition. It requires hand-eye coordination, thumb agility, and concentration.

Just got off the phone with DirecTv.

No guarantees on SECN. Said they are in talks due to the high amount of requests. She said they hope to have an agreement by August.

If you have Direct and wish to keep it call now. She said they are basing this off of requests.

I'm out. Dish for me. They are going to wait to the last minute. I can't do it.

It doesn't pay to wait. I hope the SEC network makes direct TV pay for it. Last minute pricing would be great for the SEC.

Obviously using a friends login for Watchespn?

Agree. The secn has all of the leverage or the south. Waiting will only hurt the providers. Kind of sad that they don't see that
