I used to go to a thread and if someone like Ron shared a VQ thing ect, I could see it and read it and enjoy it. A few posts would be discussing stuff and opinions but it would only cover a page or two. Don't mind some of the funny stuff and do it myself from time to time but it seems to be so out of control now that you have to wade thru a lot to get anything worth reading. I think LV is the main instigator and yet at times, he has some interesting stuff. It just gets ran into the ground. Board is free however so not much you can really do or really complain about it.

I'm sure things will get more on topic when there is some stuff going on too. This is summer. Most football teams aren't even on campus save for a few dedicated souls in the weight room.

Ours is on campus, which is one thing I love about Butch that doesn't get enough credit. Even still, it's summer. They lift. That's it.

There's nothing to talk about, so people start reading between the lines on the tea leaves about recruits character based off third hand (at best) info. Can't wait for fall camp!

As World Cup is approaching and I'm searching for all my soccer superstitious items.. Does anyone have any cool UT superstitions or things you have to have on or with you when you watch... BESIDES OBVIOUSLY ALCOHOL.

And if you have any of these superstitions, then throw them all away and start over! None of them have been working!

You could get some granny panties. It's been working well for Brandon Moss. A golden thong worked for the Yankees for awhile.

Back in 2010, ESPN The Magazine had an awesome insert in their World Cup issue that broke down the World Cup groups and had custom artwork for each team. I still have the thing. It was awesome.

Here's this years artwork (and each teams nickname if you needed to know):

The Complete Guide to World Cup Team Nicknames

Not as good as the 2010, but still worth burning a couple minutes checking out if you're ready for the WC.

The yanks. Lame. If the USA wants it's citizens to watch, we should start with a more marketable nickname for our national team.

I agree, "The Yanks" is a dumb name. However, its a name that's been pretty much given to us by the Euros. We really had nothing to do with it.
