Minus the Kameel thread, I have seen very few personal attacks on recruits. Get real? Come on, you don't think you are exaggerating a little bit?

The problem is, a few people here start to flame other posters if they disagree.

Why personally attack someone? Just tell them how you think they're wrong on his evaluation and break it down there. No need to attack personally by calling them dumb. But, I guess you do have that right as well.

ANY personal attacks are too damn many. These are kids we are talking about. It's shameful. Some need to grow up a bit.

I didn't say it was okay. You all are just acting like bored housewives in here. Calling everyone else on their crap... Not even realizing that you are now wallowing in the mud as well.

Because it get very tiresome to open a recruits thread and see page after page of the same crap posted, every single day. The same few people think somehow we'd all forget their stance overnight. They feel it's necessary to remind everyone, everyday. And I'm sorry, but that gets old after the months go by. ESPECIALLY, when said recruit is a 5 star and pursued by the best coaches in the business to play QUARTERBACK. But a few minutes of film were watched, a few quotes were read, and now we're all experts and TG need to play WR instead? Give me a break.

I'm not the one who is making unnecessary comments about a recruit's character, etc. If you do that, you should be called out for it imo. Torrance Gibson is one helluva football player. I would LOVE to have him in Knoxville. What good does it do anyone to bash these kids without end? Absolutely NONE.

You make a strong argument, the best talent evaluators are after him as a QB

But they're just stating their opinion. I get that it gets old, and I even agree with you that some posters continue to beat a dead horse, but it's clearly not stopping it. The other group beats a dead horse to prove them wrong. The back and forth arguing is what really gets old.

That's what I am saying, there are only a select few here, who actually bash kid's character.

As far as the TG stuff goes. That is what the thread is for. To discuss our thoughts on him. You don't have to agree with everyone's thoughts. You can hate to see the negative posts. But they have every right to post that they think he does throw well, just as much as people have the right to claim he is the next CN.

And for the record, I'm not defending myself here. I don't think I have said anything negative about TG.

FTR, I haven't done much posting in the last couple weeks and I've had LV on ignore for months now. But he posts all day long and continually gets quoted so it's hard to overlook the arguments at times.

But I agree with you completely, I wish we'd all put those posters on ignore and let them argue with themselves and we'd never have to see it.

I used to go to a thread and if someone like Ron shared a VQ thing ect, I could see it and read it and enjoy it. A few posts would be discussing stuff and opinions but it would only cover a page or two. Don't mind some of the funny stuff and do it myself from time to time but it seems to be so out of control now that you have to wade thru a lot to get anything worth reading. I think LV is the main instigator and yet at times, he has some interesting stuff. It just gets ran into the ground. Board is free however so not much you can really do or really complain about it.
