Bummed that Chrome couldn't pull off history. I completely agree with the owner of Chrome...it will be hard to ever have another Triple Crown winner, because of how the racing commission allows horses to sit out the Derby and Preakness, in order to be fresh to run the Belmont and upset a possible Triple Crown winner. What he said needed to be said...only horses that have enough points to run the Derby should be allowed to run the other 2 legs.

I agree as well. Isn't fair to the horses who have ran their asses off in a relatively short period of time.

Agree with you on Dempsey. Thought he was a little bit selfish in this game, but in the words of Bruce Arena he "tries sh*t."

Dempsey had some poor touches for sure, should've laid off to Altidore a time or two... Not his best game by any means but Altidore got a couple of goals and now he's got confidence. It's the best thing that could've happened

Jones had his best game in a US shirt. I think this is our best chance for Brazil. Stay organized, be tough to play through, and strike fast on the counter.

I think we could surprise some people especially with Fabian makes things happen. I just want us to get over the mental hurdle of Ghana

I think so too. Fabian is just a complete player. I've been predicting for awhile that we just come out and blast Ghana 3-0.

Mine was bought fresh then frozen. Clearin out some stuff in the stand alone freezer. I grill mine. Little oil and some salt and pepper then grill it for a couple of minutes

Interesting. Never grilled asparagus before but will now. Grew up in North Dakota and we had tons of wild asparagus growing freely alongside roads and in ditches. Get back to the home country about twice a year and one of our to do tasks is to pick my mother (in her 80's) some fresh "gus". Best greens in the world.:hi:

I don't think we'll blast Ghana, but a victory over them would be huge. They've had our number for a while. The counter attack looked good today, but the D is still young and suspect. Bradley is best pushing the ball up front. But if Kleinsmen sets him back against Ger. or Port. then the offense will take a step back. Hopefully that won't be the case, but the D is leaving too many holes and other teams will capitalize on that...

My predictions are
3-1 W vs Ghana
2-2 Draw vs Portugal
1-1 Draw vs Germany

More realistically: 2-1 W, 2-2 D, 1-2 L

You guys like asparagus then you would love the wild variety. It's got the extra flavor kick that you just cannot find in the garden variety. We also go on wild rice excursions (any old slough will do), get a pound or so, fry the rice in butter, add some pheasant breast and you have a meal fit for a Vol fan.
