I don't know about all that... I heard he didn't like bacon..

He didn't like Canadian bacon. He ate eight to ten strips of Merican bacon every day. Crispy. Like it is supposed to be. None of that limp crap you get off the Shoney's buffet line of terror.

I'll just jump in here and say maybe you should ease off the gas a little bit. There are a lot of posters in the RF that poke and kid with one another and it makes for a very enjoyable experience. If you stick around long enough you will see that. However, if it doesn't strike your fancy then you can lurk over her for your recruiting info and post in one of the many other fine forums provided by Freak and the VN Staff. (Hey Freak. :good!

The RF can be cold? I post here exclusivley and I would disagree. We get into a few scuffles but on the whole everyone is generally nice to each other. There are a few trollish posters that get the business but it is a very enjoyable place to spend your VN time.

This, this, and this. I bounced around a few sites and the FF for about 6 months until I settled in on the RF due to this above. RF has a fairly level headed outlook to the reality of our program, and what was needed to improve. I will admit there was naivety in here regarding Dufus (including myself), but I will take it over the dumpster fire negativity of other places.

To me, the perfect slice of bacon is crispy around the edges and slightly chewy in the center. The only thing super crispy nuked bacon is good for is BLTs.
