Agree with this part. But using Twitter to converse with high schoolers is not my cup of tea.

Having a closed mind will get you far in life. At one time rock and roll was the devil and blacks couldn't use the same restrooms as whites.

Being that there are millions of billions if people on twitter, I'd say you are in the VAST minority. But hey, keep working like heck and living your life bro, I won't tell you that the things that interest you make you a "little girl," I'd hate to interfere with your awesome masculinity.

Twitter, like anything else can be used for the right or wrong reasons. If you're speaking of taking with recruits.. That will never stop and may get weirder. Think of what advances we will make in technology over the next five years.

But you won't enjoy any if that right? REAL men live in the past and NEVER use social networking.

Twitter is a billion dollar industry. It is the best real time news and information source in the world. If you are a sports fan and not on twitter, you are doing it so wrong.

Also, using twitter to talk to recruits is silly. Just let them be.

People here are convinced twitter is only used to stalk people or something. I've had conversations with Stuart Scott, had my tweets retweeted by my favorite actors, and made some good friends using these social stalking networks.

It keeps me up to date with my favorite musicians, my college and pro teams with their updates, sporting news, and world wide media.

I'm sorry, but if you aren't using twitter you are for sure living in the past.

Enjoy reading the news from your newspaper that you got this morning that I read on my phone without even getting out of bed. Cheers.

If a recruit interacts with someone it's whatever, talk away. However, it makes me sick to see a recruit tweet "I'm over it" and 200 fans think it's about them or their school and get in their business.

Twitter can be a double edged sword sometimes, but most users in twitter use it the right way. It's just the time we live in y'all and it will only get weirder and more personal in years to come.

I think Twitter is underrated. Should be a composite 5 star but Rivals has him as a 3 star. Twitter will be a stud for us one day. And I heard he is a good recruiter. If Butch uses Twitter the right way then it could be a stepping stone to building this program back #BrickByBrick, and we will #RiseToTheTop.

So when is Twitter going to commit?

Yeah, I didn't mean don't talk to recruits at all on twitter. By all means, welcome them when they commit to TN, wish them luck, etc etc. What is ridiculous (and its not just TN fans) is when a recruit picks another school over theirs, going after a 17 year old on twitter, come on man! :blink:

I indirectly have Twitter via Volnation...get all the sports news that I really care about right here almost as fast as it comes out.

I don't live on Twitter, but you can find info quicker than many sources...so I use it. I follow actual friends and family and Tennessee Vols family...fellow fans, former players, current players and recruits who have committed to Tennessee...followers is currency in this medium, therefore it's a reward to follow and a penalty to unfollow...there's apparently enough of us for this to benefit the program...so I'm a part of that system. Anybody can do too much of anything...so I don't. :thumbsup: #worksforme
