Perhaps taking VN out of the title and speaking in code would be better. When a new podcast is ready you boys could post something like "The cheese is on the sandwich, I repeat, the CHEESE is on the SANDWICH" and we'll know to go check it out

Whaaaa? How does one individual have rights to the posts on this board? Why would you not just be able to utilize a screen name without mention of VN and state what they had posted as long as said poster gives you consent?

He can't stop you from doing a podcast. He can control what's posted on here as it's his site and within his rights to do so. Obviously you can't use or reference "Volnation.com" in your title as that would violate his right to not be associated with it. The question becomes whether he allows users to post links to this podcast. Again, it's his choice. He's allowed links to other podcast so I'm not sure why he would disallow in this case. I've seen links to other podcast from 247 and Volquest.

I say do your podcast and then promote it differently if freak doesn't want you to reference it here. Seems like a bad policy as the more post to the site the more $ he generates but @Freak is a lot smarter than I and maybe there are other factors that I don't know about. As I've stated, it's his site and he can do whatever he likes.

Don’t mention the site by name. Can do something like we have done for years with TOS. Maybe THE site. Can’t hurt feelings so don’t mention posters directly. Maybe something like “did you see that post by Bobby Hill’s dad?”

Just do a FB site, or whatever the kids do these days. People would post questions, no problem.

When Sports Source wants to mock us, they just say "on the message boards". At least you guys are putting us in a positive.

I am not trying to go against Freaks wishes, but other podcasts get posted all the time. As long as they utilized a screen name and didn’t mention VN and utilized words that were placed on the board there is nothing wrong with that.

Just like someone getting on our board taking what we posted and posting it in a rival board.

As long as they made their own Podcast site anyone could find the site and post the link into this forum.

.... anyways I’ll follow Freaks wishes and not bring it up anymore. Hope you guys figure something out. I’d pay a few dollars to listen to the cast. @Big Gucci Sosa and @Bassmaster_Vol

Hey, loved the podcast, was looking forward to hearing more from Bass/Gucci but...

Bottom line, Freak has always been a class act here, and gives us this board which is freaking amazing. If it’s truly that much of a headache I can respect the decision.
