My thoughts exactly...2004 or so is the end of the window.

I don't see how that stays as the cap. By 2004 the internet is more than a curiosity and much had changed already since the kids of the 80s and 90s; there was no "coming of age" for those kids at that time. The millenials are also considered to be children of the baby boomer generation, and once you start counting kids from 2001-2004 you're deep into Generation X territory.

There is an overlap, with most of the millenial generation belonging to baby boomer parents. It literally took two seconds to look that up.

And for the older crowd so insistent on casting blame at the feet of the present generations, you raised them.

Gen x is the offspring of baby boomers born late sixties through late seventies...millenails are late eighties through early 2000's. Did you ever read the book Generation X?

Nah my mom is barely a boomer being born in 65 and had me when she was 28. I’m now 25.

I was born in 1980. I could be classified as either Gen X or Y. 80 is basically the cutoff between the two. Gen Y runs until about 94 or 95.

Baby boomer is from right after WW II hence the term frim soldiers returning home. Id say 65 is way past being a boomer just outside gen x.

You can say that if you want, but demographers generally consider 1960-1964 as the cut off for the Baby Boomer generation. You yourself were adamant in an earlier post about 2004 being the cut-off for Millennials, which gives them from the early 80's to 2004, roughly 20 years. Baby Boomers start in the early 40's and if you run them to 1964, guess what, that's also roughly 20 years...

There will always be some overlap. Even I will admit that and I started this whole thing by suggesting that current 17 year olds aren't really millennials anymore. I'm simply pointing out the hypocrisy of calling out a single generation (constantly).

Only on VN could we have a millenial argument because we made somebody's Top 14. Life is grand.

Did he ever actually announce that. I just was making a joke that his big announcement was probably a top 14 or something and this argument started. I never even saw that his announcement was posted. Haha.

LOL, I have no clue. It was not surprising at all that somebody would have a Top 14, so I just ran with it.

I believe you posted his big announcement would be a top 18 and I replied next saying it was his top 14 lol and that we made it.
