Edgar Martinez was the most boring great hitter of all time. Hahaha. He had a nice swing too. Always liked eric davis and strawberry too. And frank thomas. Oh and George brett. A lot of great swings. But griffey Jr was the prettiest swing of all time.
David Justice had a nice one. And I loved watching Chipper Jones hit.
George Bell had one of the most powerful swings I've ever seen. If he hadn't been plagued by injuries, I think he would have reached the 500 club easy. Of course, you can say that for a number of big-time hitters. Anyway, great swing.
Andre Dawson was another. I also loved Will Clark's swing, though he was more of a contact hitter.
Tony Gwynn
Will Clark
Todd Helton
Dale Murphy
Dave Justice
here's one....Terry Pendleton.
Chipper was my fave.
of the hackers, and proof that there was absolutely 0 steroid use...guy had a hacksaw upper cut swing. man he could hit the long ball.
Pendleton drove me nuts towards the end. I thought he should have been benched in the 1996 World Series but Cox started him in Game 6 instead. I recall being furious.
What I wouldnt give to see the Braves get back there though... was spoiled back then with my sports teams.
