I have a question since I can not make a Thread for some reason. But I have notice alot of other SEC schools pick up really good transfers from other schools. My question why does Tennessee never land these really good transfers?

Like Kamara?
I'm honestly not sure of the question.
Kongbo is also a transfer.
But when transferring from a D1 school, they are usually out a year from that division.
Not every time but several times, someone is transferring due to trouble or grade issues. UT has a strict standard for the SEC on grades, and Butch isn't always inclined to receive kids he feels that lack character.

I'd guess they mean transfer from another D1 school. Like where A&M just got a transfer from Oregon. Not where they go Juco then go through the recruiting process again.

In that case, I assume they end up at a school they previously had interest in and vice versa.
Not like bidding on a car at auction unless you're OM or Aub.

That's usually the case. A lot of times it's one of their top 5 coming out of HS, or another top program close by. Like where all the Baylor kids are transferring to Texas.

Or where they transfer down. Like going from Tennessee to MTSU to assure playing time.

Also, until this last recruiting class, we didn't take too many guys who weren't going to contribute right away. Flipping a Dooley roster to a SEC title contending roster required taking play-makers at all positions. We couldn't afford to put too many on scholarship to ride the pine. Grad transfers are a different animal though since they can play right away. RDA last year. Along with Renfro (who got beat out by Daniel).

Anyone know how I could go about getting an internet connection for 1 month? Besides tethering through wifi hotspot on my phone or borrowing the neighbors' connection.

I would tether to the wifi on your phone or borrow the neighbors' connection. That's just my opinion. Tifwiw
