Until they solve the whole Sunni/Shiite thing I don't see them being able to conquer much.

This is why it made no sense to invade Iraq. Afghanistan - yes. Iraq - no. When they are focused on each other, the rest of the world is safer because they are death cults. Add in hanging around to build democracy in any Muslim country is a waste of resources as centuries of world history should have taught our doofus leaders. Afghanistan harbored people who did evil deeds against us. Blow them into dust and ashes, then leave. Be prepared to do that to each enemy that physically attacks us. The message will be clear. America will save resources that can be better utilized to counter cyber warfare, trades wars, etc. while having a military that will be locked and loaded as needed.
