I'm not afraid of the responsibilities of having a kid. I just don't want them. I'm still in my 20s and if I had to miss out on fully enjoying this part of my life because of a kid, I'd resent it for that.

Edit: I guess my point is that kids aren't for everyone. But in my experience, most people with kids don't get that. Some people aren't cut out for it.

My point is that I felt exactly like you in my 20s. Afraid was probably the wrong word. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, I'm just saying make sure. I wish I'd had kids earlier. Just trying to pass on my experience. :hi:

I'm tired of it too, but electing Trump won't do anything to stop the PC movement.

It will probably make it worse, IMO.

PC Bros created Donald Trump.

I doubt it will make it worse. I can't stand Donald trump and I refuse to vote for him but there would be two positives that would come from him being elected. 1) Hillary or the socialist don't become president 2) People who have been silenced by PC culture will be empowered to call a spade a spade and stop this PC nonsense.

I don't think it would stop. Trump seems to bring out the worst in people.

Exactly. He'll just inflame both sides. The best way to deal with the PC crowd is just to treat them like a toddler throwing a tantrum. Let them have their little fit, roll your eyes, and ignore it. They'll tucker out having made no difference. But most people on the other side are just as easily (or even more easily) offended to let things go and move on, so they end up indirectly giving validation to the PC crowd by trying to "fight back."

The Crew of CBS this Morning just ambushed Cruz. Repeatedly attacked his stance on Radical Muslims. It was uncomfortable to watch. Would not let up.

By contrast, they had Hillary on not long ago and asked her about being a grandmother.

Oh come on now, there's no media bias! :whistling:

So is it pretty much a done deal that Trump gets the Republican nomination? I noticed Vegas has Hillary as the odds on favorite to be the next US President.

Happy for you both. Best wishes for a great life together.

Thanks! She has a daughter a year older than mine...so next year we'll have two kids in college. Get them through that and we'll be near 50...THEN we 'll be partying! :)

Let me ask you guys a question. What if you found someone who may be your perfect match? Everything in common, similar/same personality, great values, wonderful sense of humor, beautiful, but:

She's a Bama fan...

Comments.

If she's the kind of Bama fan that calls into the Finebaum show? We don't get to the "perfect match" part. Otherwise? I've got friends that cheer for Bama...so it's workable. My fiancé is a Cali girl who's dived in feet first with my Vols. She loves the colors and even wants to put checkerboard into our ceremony. I just want a subtle Power T on my tie.

She's def not the Finebaum kind, but she understands the game, has been a lifelong fan, and is actually pretty good at talking ish because of it. I don't hesitate to poke back either. I did tell her early on, when she broke it to me that she was a Bama fan, that if she was a Florida fan I would have kicked her to the curb.

Back and forth is kind of fun. Will keep things lively and fresh.
