Spring breakout player? Attention will be on the QB battle, but for me it will/has to be Darrell Taylor. Need that elite talent on the edge.

Hmmmm...

You know-- this is my upset pick-- but imma have to go with Eric Berry. Don't know why, but I think he could challenge for the NCAA INT return yardage record.

Maybe I'm thinking power cleans. I just don't know how you can do an effective clean on smith machine. Is it a 4 way moving smith machine that moves forward and backward as well as up and down?

Cleans on a Smith are not really possible. As far as a fluid motion..

Was just cleaning first rep, from the ground, and doing front squats. There's no way you could "drop" a clean on a smith with out rotating the bar and racking it. Not real sure what's so complicated about that?

Wouldn't it have been easier to just unrack it and just do front squats. Especially on a Smith Machine.

Cleans are an explosive lift so I don't even understand how you're getting a lot out of that lift doing that way. That's all I'm trying to understand. 😎😎😎

I do some Hack Squats and one legged Split Squats on there to change it up on days. Also Military Press on it whenever I hit shoulders.

I like my military presses using good ol' fashion barbells. Free weights hit so many ancillary muscles.

I only use the Smith for one legged squats and hack squats. Everything else is free weights or cables.

I think some of you nerds don't even lift bro.

Yeah the whole lift is getting killed by the bar being on a track.

I agree, there's no fluid motion, but atleast I can get some explosion on the initial rep. Come on, It's planet fitness, gotta be creative!
Was ACE certified for years too btw, not like I'm a joe blow doin **** wrong. Currently, I'm 39, 6'0, was 212 this morning . Haven't done bf for a bit, but on looks, I'm hovering around 9.5-10%, will cut to 200 in the spring.

Everyone should be praying for Walt wells to be OL coach. He's a hell of a recruiter and a very good OL coach. He's grown as a coach tremendously since joining TN's staff and I personally like having coaches with OC experience (butch seems to share this belief).

Hoke and Wells will be two big hires for us.
