If he doesn't make it in 17 he should be gone, when he fails in 17 like he did I. 16 he needs to be canned two years of dooly classes and this program is no better than where it was before butch, did what people say but this class sucks I see at best maybe 5 guys that can make an impact in their first or second year

Losing: Dobbs, kamara, Malone, Barnett, (Maybin & Sutton didn't play much this year anyway)

Will be tough to win 3 or 4 of those &
If we get down early to GT it will be hard to catch up with their offense the clock will run.

If anybody would have said at the beginning of this past season that we would lose 18-20 starters/2nd stringers, have the same record as the previous year, and lose to SCar and Vandy that person would have needed to be put in a safe place by the government.

We should see any further shake up in the staff in the next week or so.

2017 team deserves our support unconditionally. "Team" includes coaches.......
GO VOLS!

Good thing is we don't need them to make an impact in their first or second year... you know because of the talent we have on the roster...

Nebraska was way better than both of those teams and we handled them we played better against A&M with injuries and if not for crazy fumbles we would have crushed them. You don't lose to Vandy bottom line.

Edit: defense against A&M was atrocious but we still should have won. Vandy is complete garbage and they may very well beat us next year.

I don't necessarily disagree with you. I hate losing to Vandy too and hope we would never lose to them. But in the end, it happened. And Injuries were a big factor. Butch has done great about getting us depth at key positions, but in the end that depth was inexperienced. There are some talented young players that we have across the depth chart, but they weren't ready last year. And it showed. On to next year.

Injuries did have an effect but it still shouldn't have happened. Butch better work some magic next year or recruiting will drop off even more. There are some studs in this class however.

What talent? Most of the guys that will start this year are the same guys who played in the vandy and scar games, they got plenty of experience last year with all of the injuries, but didn't play well. I'm expecting 7-5 at best. Imo this year will tell us a lot about butch and his staffs coaching ability we all saw how bad and out of position these guys were when they played, so if they look better than we have a coach if not then cut our losses and move on

I've never seen a bigger bunch or cry babies. We have a really talented class, and butch is going to
Be positive and keep moving forward with or without you so called "fans". I've never seen so many people wanting our coach to fail. You should be embarrassed, and please .. go root for Clemson or Bama.

The day is almost over, and we're top 15 on all 4 services, yet there so much *****ing here. It could be better, sure. But it's not terrible by any means. There are not many guys that I wouldn't have wanted to keep in the class.

Yes, but number 1 QB left mid season, number 1 WR was good but not irreplaceable, number 1 CB was injured for all but 2 games and missed majority of season and wasn't ready to come back when he did. We will miss Barnett and there's no replacing him. Dobbs is great, but JG is supposedly more talented and could be better. He's a Redshirt freshman. He may not be ready, or he may win the heisman like Manziel or Winston. Who knows.

I actually enjoy rooting for UT. Just want better for this historic program. I support all the players and I am glad they are Vols. Butch makes the most outrageous statements that people know aren't true.

2017: New QB, WR, RB, CB, and DE. Rebuild and then 2018 is our year!

2018: Lots of new OL and DL so 2019 will REALLY be our year!

So on and so forth
