The crowd never felt totally out of it. They got quieter as the deficit mounted, but you could see the team trying. The fans were just waiting for them to break through. A few faltered at the half, not wanting to feel the sting again. The third quarter started much the same as the first half. When Hurd caught that first TD, we knew we had a ballgame. It wasn't a fluke. The fluke was not scoring earlier. The crowd got hungry.
When that second TD went to Wolf, it was on! And it was great redemption for Wolf and those first half drops. They were in the thick of it. Belief was fully revived. The crowd was frothing.
I truly feel like the game was won on the Jennings strike. It was over. Florida hung its head like too many Tennessee teams in the not-too-distant past. We knew that look. It was a dog with its tail between its legs. The blood was in the water.
When Malone housed the quick hit, the feeding frenzy was in full bloom. The sea went red and the hunted went belly up.
Even after Florida responded, surprisingly the worry was minimal. This wasn't "those" teams. This was a new force--not to be denied. The crowd knew it. The team knew it. More importantly, the opponent knew it.
Let's get us some Georgia!
SEC west is brutal, and Miles won the majority of his games. (Not to mention all he did for that community)
There are much better more stable jobs.
Buchanan bit on the same move. We were playing off coverage but they were in man by themselves. Second one wasn't bad he got beat but that ball barely got in there. Versus Virginia Tech he played good. His PIs were on a 6'7 245lb dude who was pushing off. Had Martin gotten his head around here would've easily had a pick the first time. The second time should've been a no call. But we've played 4 games and he's been beat 4 times with only two being catches. I mean I could give you Marsalis Teague so you would know what a liability really looks like in coverage.
Dobbs is wanting to talk to you. 😄
Hey guys. I don't get on the recruiting forum much, so maybe I overlooked it. Has there been any mention of Jordan Mason from Gallatin on here? As of last week, he had close to 1400 yards through 6 games (averaging 230 ypg I believe). The kid definitely has SEC size for a rb too (6'0", 205lbs). He only has 4 offers, and I can't figure out why.
Buchanan is a true freshman playing in his fourth game. Martin is in his third year of college football.
I'm not against him at all he's just not playing up to par this year. I hope he turns it around.
I never thought Martin wouldn't be the starter opposite Cam. Now he's not even starting with Cam out.
LOL you keep calling me out like I've been calling for him to be benched nonstop. He has accuracy issues, always has and still does. That's all I've ever said about him, other than coaches need to run him more. You fixate on the weirdest things with me, like the one time I mentioned I liked Heath because he is a distant, DISTANT relative, and you spent a year hounding me about how I was in love with him.
