If Jimbo loses a couple more games (vs Clemson, @ Miami, vs Florida), then I don't think he'd mind taking a giant paycheck from LSU instead of the heat he'll get in Tallahassee.

If I was Jalen Hurd I wouldn't even consider staying unless we start catering more run plays to him. Give him more looks out of the pistol or with Dobbs under center. The majority of Hurd's carries he's earning every yard on his own. If there's anything to be critical of right now it's how difficult we are making it on him to run the football.

Luckily Hurd seems to have a pretty good attitude about it at all but I sure as hell would be frustrated.

Understand what you are saying. I'm still wondering when we will see some of the formations from under center with a lead blocker, like we saw in the bowl game. Maybe we are sandbagging that until A&M or Bama?

Barnett is the only high round lock of the underclassmen.

Was just looking at some numbers. Would people be surprised if Aaron Medley is 8th on the all time FG % made at UT? He has a career of 71.4%. If you take out his 4/6 this year, he is probably even higher. There is a group of 5 between 72%-74%. Jeff Hall isn't even in the top 10.

Medley is 38-42 from inside 40 yards. Based on discussions here, I thought those were interesting.

Alleva or however you spell it sure isn't respected by the national media. Blah blah media sucks, I know. I know! Just pointing it out.

Hard to believe we were heavily pursuing him as AD after Hamilton.

They didn't have a lead blocker, but we did run a couple of handoffs under center. I am not a football expert, but I wonder how many times Hurd has made a wrong decision by bouncing it outside. Sometimes, it appears he gets a little impatient, and he just isn't the type of back to string it out.

I do wish we would go behind center on the goal line.

The only way I see it is if he doesn't have faith in his roster at fsu for next year and on.

SEC west is brutal, and Miles won the majority of his games. (Not to mention all he did for that community)

There are much better more stable jobs.

I saw an announcement for an upcoming episode of "SEC Inside" at 5 pm MDT (7 pm EDT) on Wed., Sept. 28 on the SEC network titled "Florida/Tennessee". Supposedly it includes some footage of what Butch Jones said to the team at halftime of the Florida game. If so, I really want to see this!

SIAP, but I haven't seen any mention of this in VN.

I think LSU will play better under Coach O. He will light a fire under them. Plus, LSU is his dream job. He knows that if he can string together a one loss season from here on out (or pull the impossible and beat Bama), he could potentially get the job.

Just watched a few highlights. I noticed it early in the season, too, but the bend that Barnett gets when moving around the LT toward the QB is incredible.
