"As for the current team, there are daily questions about Shy Tuttle. There are daily glowing reviews about Jonathan Kongbo, but the player who may have come the farthest over the last 18 months or so?
Kahlil McKenzie.
A couple of years ago, McKenzie was at 350 pounds. He surprised many when he arrived last summer in that he wasn't as heavy as feared, but he was too big and wasn't in shape. Today, McKenzie is under 320 pounds. In fact he's near 315 pounds and looks like a million dollars. He's moving better than he has in the past and is stronger than he has been since arriving at Tennessee.
Now, that doesn't mean the hype is slowing on Kongbo in any way, but McKenzie has just been grinding. His commitment to managing his weight really ramped up a notch during spring practice and coming out of spring. He has put himself where he has long wanted to be with fall camp basically a week away."

Watch #6 for Florida on that play. He appears to be gaining ground on Dobbs until our QB makes a couple of moves that so befuddles that guy that he looks like he just decided to fall down! :thud:
The need to wait until the pads come on...... If he can start in THAT secondary then he should play right now. He's an All-American right now first year.
Dobbs has an uncanny ability to juke people that are behind him. The first couple of times he did it I thought it was luck but it's happened often enough I think he just knows where everybody is.
Hopefully he lives up to the hype.
I was most disappointed in his freshmen year.
Lewis(RB just added) is "in" the 2016 class but counts to 2017. I'd imagine McDaniel if taken would be the same.
Taking 21 last year was because of all the blue shirts previously. I don't think there is room to backcount anyone.
IDK about Tuttle. CBJ said he was 50-75% back and they hoped to have him on the field by mid-August. Said they would take it slow. We need him, so it would be great to have him 100% by the UF game. Might be a bit optimistic, though.
