Just curious. IMO, it is pretty difficult to fire him if he ends up with 9 wins this year. He inherited a mess, and I am still not sure future coaches would want to take a job where his predecessor clearly improves and gets fired.
I had thought about this scenario before the season. I said that I would be disappointed if we didn't get to Atlanta, but barring a collapse, it doesn't mean he should be fired. I have no issue with him being on the proverbial hot seat.
He will suffer on the recruiting trail now. Kids were told he was going to get canned over the Title IX lawsuit and now they will be told he's on the hot seat/can't develop top players/can't compete for championships. PW and JH transferring is also bad fodder.
