My son turns 5 on Feb 3rd and wants the same thing. We should talk to Butch....see what we can do. It is for the children after all.

In the FWIW column this AM, I have enjoyed going to the LV threads. Meltdown. Part of the fun is picking out the Dooley fans. No matter what, support the coach and the team, just keep buying those tickets, paying those donations, there will never be another Past Summitt so don't expect it, and so on. Denial, Egypt, etc. lol.

Please correct me if I am wrong. Are the Carolina Panthers undefeated at this point in the season? Did they lose to the 8-8 Atlanta Falcons? What is the Falcons' defensive rank in the NFL?

The Panthers had a chance to be the first team since the 1972 Miami Dolphins to go undefeated through the entire season. A record that has stood for over 40 years! But the mighty Carolina Panthers could not seal the deal against the Falcons!

Not at all impossible for the Broncos to win.

When the seahawks tore up the Broncos in the Super Bowl, the Broncos didn't have the #1 defense. Makes a big difference.

Remember what happened the last time the no.1 offense matched up against the no.1 defense in the super bowl? The team with the best defense won 43-8. Peyton and the Broncos have more than a shot at winning this game.

Well known fact around Texas that it is much easier to get into OU or Ole Miss or Arkansas than any of the Big Texas schools. So I stand by my original statement that Zeus could qualify for OU even if not for UT. Not bashing Zeus or OU. Just stating facts...

People out there saying Denver has no chance crack me up. Should Denver be favored of course not,but haven't we all seen this movie a thousand times. I can think of several instances where the underdog won the Superbowl. The one that sticks out to me the most was the Giants,Patriots when NE was going for an undefeated Season and NY was a wild card team that barely made the playoffs.

Denver's defense gives them a chance because they're really good. Carolina's defense is really good, but their qb is on another level too this year. I wish this wasn't true but Peyton manning is playing the worst football of his career and that's gonna be the difference in the game

Brady has been elite all year, that defense made him look worse than Peyton.

My question is: how far is Dave Hart going to let it fall before he makes the change. Does he continue to let the program slip into the abyss over the backlash from trying to remove "Lady" from the program as a finger to the eye?

That's true but the Broncos knew that they didn't have to worry about a running game because the pats were on they're 3rd string rb. Carolina is the best all around team in the nfl, they can score running, throwing, and their special teams and defense scores points. Denver will have their work cut out for them to win this game and in my opinion they just don't have enough offensively to win.

They went 30-6 last year, finished tied for 1st in the SEC with a record of 15-1 and went to the elite 8.

He's not going to fire her and he's certainly not going to do it midseason.

The "lady" backlash is so overblown.

I don't believe that a single person has stated they expect Denver to win. People have just been rebutting you saying that it is impossible for Denver to win. You have stated that as a fact, not an opinion. When someone does that on this website, usually people-- for good reason-- jump the post.

Anyone with a basketball iq of 10 knows where this is going. Nowhere in my post did I advocate Dave Hart firing her mid season. The "Lady" stuff is looked at as overblown by casual "Lady" Vol basketball fans. Diehard fans are/were extremely pissed.

Pretty sad that we are making jokes at the expense of a kid that is obviously in a bad place.

A kid smoking pot is one thing and putting the blame solely on the kid is usually fair.

However when a kid is involved with coke that's another story. Any kid involved in something that severe needs support for sure

I know a lot of people-- a shocking amount in Knoxville alone-- that do Coke on the regular that aren't troubled souls. They are just idiots.
