Looking ahead to next year: The only unit on the team that won't be elite will be the secondary.

I think Jennings moves to safety to help out TK Jr. We desperately need Osborne to be ready to play day one across from Martin.

But outside of that, the team is going to be stacked. 6 deep at DT (KMack/Tuttle/O'Brien/Vickers/Johnson/Picou), 7 deep at DE (Barnett/Vereen/Phillips/Taylor/Mixon/Lewis/Butcher). OL will be vastly improved with Jones and Hall having a year of experience. RBs will be elite. WRs will be elite and experienced across the board (will be the Malone, Smith, and Williams show). LBs will be elite if JRM stays.

Return teams will still be elite with Berry returning kickoffs and Kamara returning punts.

10-12 regular season wins are possible next year. All of the close losses from this year would have been wins with next year's roster.

Didn't see anyone posting any of the comments from the press conference that just ended. But, Butch was asked about getting Evan Berry more involved on offense and he stated definitively that he will not be working with the offense. He did say, however, that EB has been practicing with the DBs (I'm almost positive he said as a Safety) for the past couple weeks. So, that could be another good development for the DBs for the rest of this year as well as for next year.

Edit: I watched again, and he did say Safety, and that he's had a couple really good weeks of practice there (I would assume that he's been practicing there most of the time anyway, besides his time as KR).

Gaulden is suppose to be Golden.

Is there a stat sheet that shows number of plays played?

Seemed to be tkjr played much much less than he had been playing

We have definitely been tortured.

Not sure any fan base, in any sport, in any country, suffers more close losses than Tennessee fans.

I'm convinced we have an Auburn 2013 type season coming up soon. The odds are definitely in our favor.

I agree that Jennings gets moved to Safety next year and will excel at that position. He is a headhunter and has excellent ballskills in the air.

next year - lol

Not in any order

Appy State
Va Tech (at Bristol)
Ohio
Tenn Tech
FL
KY
MO
AL
at GA
at SC
at A&M
at VD

I think we may have won 10 games with this year's roster and staff with next years schedule. :)

anyone else having trouble with VN on their laptop/desktop the last few days? On my phone it runs fine. On my laptop I get these audio advertisements that completely bog down the site and I have to shut it down.

EDIT: And it's pretty annoying...haha

I just sent Freak an email about the exact same thing! :hi:

UK released their depth chart for next week and list 3 FR starting in the secondary. They also lost their starting NT for the season the week before last.

What are the chances Tee is out at USC after the year? Is Sark gone or on leave? Coaching turnover for sure?

Sark is done. Tee has support from the leadership and big money guys at SC. The new coach will probably be encouraged to keep Tee.

So our best shots at getting someone drafted this year are...

Sutton - JR
JRM - JR
Pearson
Maggitt
Kerbyson
Pig
Randolph
O.Williams

Missing anybody? Lots of people thought North would leave after this year, but I dont think so with his production.

I'm expecting Jalen Hurd to really break out in these last 5 games. He almost had 100 yards rushing against Bama. The talent level in these last 5 games drops considerably, he should have no problem getting over 1000 yards.

I think it is completely possible that in some of these games Hurd will reach 150

I honestly think we'll have almost 300 yds rushing against UK. Not a good run stopping team
