Barnett gets held so much it's ridiculous and for some reason refs never call it. Not one time. It doesn't make any sense why they let him practically get chocked and pulled

I agree, but as much as it's happening it would lead one to believe it's legal / permissible. I know we got away with a blatant one on Hurd's TD run.

That chocking you speak of though, I'm not so sure. :)

Speaking of mobile/non-mobile, I doubt I'm the only one that uses the mobile skin even on my desktop.

Does anyone else doing that have trouble quoting or liking posts?

IF we win all 5 remaining games to get to 8-4 (5-3) and IF Georgia and Florida were to both finish 5-3 in the league (which would give us the division crown), I think we would be the team the West champion would least want to face.

We would have a ton of momentum rolling into Atlanta.

We have definitely been tortured.

Not sure any fan base, in any sport, in any country, suffers more close losses than Tennessee fans.

"Skin" is one of if not my least favorite technocological terms. Gives me the creeps for some reason. Hate it

Fox ain't fired him yet? :)

I saw one play where a lineman was actually holding Barnett back by the waistband of his pants from behind. It was the same play where dude was also holding him around his neck from behind like a chokehold. Turrible.

I would love to get another shot at Bama!

Depending on if treon Harris improves I could see Tennessee and Florida being 1a and 1b on the list.

@patrickbrownTFP: Should get Vols-Carolina kick time today. Other SEC games that day: Bama-LSU, Arky-Ole Miss, Vandy-UF, Auburn-A&M and UK-UGA.

@Volquest_Paul: Jalen Reeves-Maybin is tied for 17th in the country in TFLs with 10.5. His 9.6 total tackles/game has him in the top 25 in that category.

I want TN to finish as high in the East standings as possible. My realistic path of least resistance for that to happen is Florida beating Georgia.

I really hope this is Verne and Gary's last year as commentators. Makes Bob Kesling sound like John Ward. How many times did they say Cody Vereen and Jayben Meeves Raybin?

I also was not fond of Verne being uncontrollably excited when Henry ran in for the go-ahead score

Because you don't like moral victories.

Moral Victory | Definition of moral victory by Merriam-Webster

404 Not Found

Merriam‑Webster

an actual defeat regarded as a virtual victory because of the narrowness of the margin or because of some circumstance that gives satisfaction or hope.

I've been beyond amused at the huge numbers of people denying that Saturdays game was a moral victory. Of course it was and VN and those around the program are largely celebrating it. Would it have been better if we had actually won? No doubt but in the absence of actually winning we do have a moral victory and to blatantly claim otherwise I think is akin to saying, "I did not have sex with that woman."

That said, however, obviously there are a few Debbie-downer posters here and elsewhere that, as you suggest, haven't figured out how to thoroughly enjoy a bona fide moral victory. :)
