Take away Jennings holding penalty, the lackadaisical defense on 4th and 3rd from BGSU's 10 yard line (a scenario we are unlikely to face again), and Barnett's roughing the passer penalty on something like 3rd and 15, and the game was a complete blowout of epic proportions. We dominated them on defense whenever we we wanted to or felt like we needed to.

I'm not worried at all by that game. A lot of good teachable moments. It was close for a period because we got a little sloppy and probably believed our own hype, plus those guys had a sneaky good QB and receiving corps for a MAC team.

This game on Saturday will be an epic four quarter affair. Can't wait!

I agree, except for the bolded part above. I think Martinez not being there hurt us on those one-on-one matchups of Mosley and Abernathy as much as anything. But I don't think there is any hand-wringing over it at this point.

I'm excited about the OU game. I would say extra attention has been given to it due to the stage, setting, potential ramifications, etc. I know it's not SEC, but it could be one of the biggest games in the CBJ to date.

I feel like 80% of that stuff he posts is just trying to get a reaction like he got from you. It's like he enjoys being negative and the attention it brings. He has a sense of humor about it. Doesn't bother me too much. GBO!

Agreed. People just go on and on responding to him like they have to convince him that it's not as bad as he thinks. Such a large percentage of posts are Catbone related these days.

It's a shtick. Don't know that he is always like that in everyday life.

Plus, much of the hand wringing and negativism comes from young people, who haven't seen success. Some of us have seen the good days, hated the bad days, but know where the program can go.

Chill out on this topic. Nissan Stadium is TSU home field all year. Plus this game is considered a classic for TSU one of biggest games for them.--As far as attendance.

Mrs. Phillips is my aunt and Kyle's Mom. She likes UT a lot. But she works for TSU. Please remember that. This is not disrespectful its TSU home field and the school colors. So please don't make this an issue where there is no issue. Thanks

Saulsberry not available. he is helping coach but will not play.

Mac was winded after two plays Saturday. Don't be surprised if he is used very little this season. Hard to get into game shape in 6 weeks and he is not there, not close.

so we have 4 DTs that can be counted on this week..

I'll believe it when I see it. He can play against teams who don't go hurry up and sub out frequently. There's no way that we use him very little.
