Central Michigan: Tennessee wide receivers coach / recruiting coordinator Zach Azzanni told sports radio WMNL this afternoon that he has not spoken with Central Michigan about their head coaching search. Azzanni said, Anytime youre talking about jobs and career advancement, its about taking the right jobs at the right times. I can tell you that with absolutely no hesitation that the key to a long and successful coaching career is to take the right jobs at the right time. Im totally immersed in our recruiting and building on our momentum here. I have not spoken with CMU. We just had a Top 5 recruiting class in America. The foundation for that (class) began two years ago. Everyone in this state can sense where were going. Its what I want to be a part of. You all know what we have coming back here and you know what were about to do here. Its really as simple as that. I want to be a part of this. Azzanni served as the wide receivers / assistant head coach at CMU from 2007 - 2009 under Butch Jones, so many believed he would pursue the job. Central Michigan is likely to name its new head coach in the next 48 hours.
