U change your mind about wanting Tee and hire the UT legend that wants to be here. A Martin hire will be loved by most fans and all former Vols. Plus, he would kill recruiting. Tee would be a step up from Butch in recruiting and couldn't coach 'em up, any less than Butch did. Talent would make up for some of the first time head coaching mistakes.

But, I still prefer Gundy. I really, really hope we get Mike Gundy. I want him introduced at the Mercer game tomorrow night, while I'm there. Btw, some of u guys need to check out Barnes' basketball team. This team is well coached and plays hard. NCAA Tourey team, imo

No... I want tee... I'm saying Haslam and Currie do not want him.

We have heard every move made in the entire search.

1 went to Bahamas
2 dragged our feet on Mullen
3 flew up to Columbus to hire Schiano
4 backed out
5 went after Gundy

We didn't drag our feet on Mullen. He wanted the UF job more. UF had the jump in contacting him, too.

I don't care what these guys say anymore. Schiano was a terrible hire on so many levels. And not only that, but he was foisted on the fans a day after we had to watch our team full of 4 and 5 star talent get worked by Vanderbilt to cap off the first 8 loss season in program history. The timing couldn't have been worse.

Listening to Jimmy today who broke the Gundy interview, he hinted Brohm from what he is hearing is a long shot AFTER reaching out yesterday and Morris was waiting until next week.

Jimmy made it pretty clear if Gundy declines, it goes to Kevin Steele

Steele would likely be an awful hire unless he brought in an elite staff. Dude was 9-36 at Baylor

No way the boosters and AD would ever even possibly consider him.

So if they know it's not even possible, why do fans beg for a guy that still trolls TN and braggs about it. Not to mention starting this dumpster fire to begin with.
