Two ways to pressure the Haslams.
1). Go after their money, so boycott until they are out.
2). Go after their political power and make it impossible for them sit at any table that invokes the school, so no School president job.

Both hard, but we have the numbers, we would just need to maintain the pressure long enough. They will bet we can't maintain the pressure long enough.

They will give us a decent, palatable hire and we'll all forget about this until 2022 when we need another coach.

They overplayed their hand yesterday. They're incompetent but not dumb enough to feed us another hire that will cause a second revolt. They'll placate the masses to make sure Neyland is full and things keep chugging along.

Mike leach has a good defense right now. I’m actually intrigued of what he would do here. Quick passing game, ball out early, could be quite effective against bama. Clemson showed that.

What do you guys want Hubbs to say? “Haslam’s candidate is Schiano” ???

Ziti, idc what he says, I’m just saying he is handcuffed by needing to stay on Haslams good side. He is in a tough spot. If you disagree with that then you are being disingenuous.

Not bashing Hubbs so you don’t have to be defensive about it.

Leach would have been a good hire before this mess.

How many posters are on Volnation? How many of us would be willing to boycott all things football of this continues?

How long have the Haslams been the sole decision makers on campus? 20 years? Longer?

They've been major players for a long time but their money and power have grown. Apparently Dickey used to keep them in check. Then they got Hamilton in and he was their guy. They've all been Haslam guys ever since. I would imagine the academic side is stacked with Haslam stooges as well.

Two very easy and attainable choices that are a lifetlie to this epic cluster*****. Lane Kiffin, or Tee Martin, and you potentially get both of them if you get Kiffin back. But we are Tennessee, and we are run by idiots, so we'll go grab another nobody from a nobody program who hasn't won anything and be back in this same spot in about 4 or 5 years.

Stop buying tickets, stop buying apparel, and stop making donations until we get our football program back. Simple.

He’s not gonna lead a revolt against the Haslams.

I don’t think he gets info from the Haslams but he’s not gonna to word his info to paint them in a negative light. That’s just common sense. Hubbs is doing no wrong here. He’s being sensible as would anybody.

He’s obviously not too handcuffed. He nailed this search from start to finish while 247 went for ratings.

pretty easy for me. I did it this yr. I didnt spend 1 dime on the football program this yr. If schiano was the coach i would have never been back and ive loved the Vols my whole life.

Sounds like the most likely outcome.
