Currie isn't going to squash it and UT isn't going to comment. That has been made clear. Gruden said last time that it isn't his place to speak out on rumors that he didn't start. Attention is like air to a celebrity-- and that's how he sees himself.
So since I havent been on here most weekend. Was or was he not in Knoxville yesterday? I dont see the sports source making t up.
Sorry if already discussed
He hasnt won that many games at a high level. His great class that he recruited for us turned to ashes. He urinated all over our entire program.
Again, have just a tiny bit of self respect.
Obviously Currie isnt going to squash it, but if Gruden isnt in play Currie SHOULD squash it.
But none of this is originating with UT, and UT isn't feeding the frenzy. Fans are taking rumors and running with them and the media is fanning the flames for clicks and airtime. Grumors are very profitable for websites. Who's spreading these rumors? Established media sources or newbies and wannabes who're suddenly getting their names out there and getting in the conversation-- say on a fan site that has produced more than 15000 pages of content in a week or radio shows that are loving the uptick?
He's going to continue to work his list and conduct interviews with the goal of having a new coach in place the first week in Dec. They want to move recruiting visits from the Vandy game to then-- and they're hoping to have Mays and Taylor on campus to lure them back in. Both are open to that, so UT is working hard to make that happen.
I'm sure this has probably been posted, but the Detroit Free Press asked Jim Bob Cooter about the Tennessee job and he dodged the questions.
Fulmer and Manning helped him get his first job with Indy when Manning was still there. Manning brought him to Denver too.
Is Detroit Lions' Jim Bob Cooter interested in Tennessee football job?
