Right now I feel like I’ve been playing dizzy bat.

And the truth is that nobody knows anything, it's all speculation. Currie is Tight lipped.

I've called several Buddies today and they are all caught up in the grumors but nobody knows anything, other than what is said on message boards.

Supposedly the team has been told, according to that FB feed, but when I was there, you couldn't keep a secret. Now all of sudden parents have been told, recruits have been told Gruden is coming. Hmmmmm 🤔

Probably because 99 of 100 team meeting rumors get proven false. There’s probably been 2 since I’ve been a Vol fan.

If folks are paying attention, Kingston Vol has been spot on and early with everything that has come out

Other insiders report on details that is never really proven true or false.

You’ve said multiple times that you think Mullen is a good coach. You just said that if you’re a good coach you can win at Tennessee. The losers thing was said teasingly.

Then this post calling people losers if they want Mullen and saying he will fail?

You’re all over the place on this lately.

I think he is a good coach who could have moderate success for a bit at UT, as I've said before I do not believe he has greatness in him..none at all. We need a great HC not moderately successful.

So even though he would be going from bottom 3 SEC school in terms of facilities, budget, and backing. To one of the best in the nation. And one that even Dooley and butch could bring in players to. you still think that he wouldn’t achieve more than he does now.

The more I hear about Dan Mullen the more it makes me ill. I wish I was a believer in him, but on the other hand since I believe his supposed interest in UT is nothing more than a ploy to get more money out of State, I really don't think I'll have to worry about it. If I was a believer in the Meh it would just hurt worse when he and Gruden both turn us down.

I think he will be a good (but not great) coach, and not exactly what we really want. I see him as a Mark Richt/UGA at best, but never really able to get us over the hump.

Sounds good to folks right now after being bad for so long, but I promise it will get old. Just hate the dropoff from Gruden to him. Terrible.

A little, but I don't think he will consistently beat Kirby (this years game all the evidence I need) or if UF gets Chip he ain't beating him either, and he ain't ever going to beat Saban...ever...imo.

Eh Norvell’s success this year is about on par with Butch’s best years at Cincy. Norvell has a much more successful background as an offensive assistant though.


Like o said I’d be unhappy with him as a hire though.

I wouldn't be on board with him at all personally. He has to be the absolute floor. If we get down to that level I'd rather us try to get Venables.
