Word is no. I guarantee they won't just say "oh well, let's play 11" though. They can pay big bucks to an FCS team on one of their byes.

I don't see why Idaho doesn't play them tomorrow though. That's how I'd handle it

Not to sidetrack the thread, but what are the places to get the highest quality UT gear at a reasonable price. I'm home for a visit in TN and would like to load up on Vol wear.

I last bought UT stuff on campus which is quality but overpriced, IMHO. Thanks.

I don't know all the places, but HoundDogs on chapman highway has a ton of stuff. I'm not sure about the price though. Most of the shirts were around $20 or $30. The hat I got was $15.

Ladies and gentlemen it's finally football time in TENNESSEE!!! Can't wait to watch the young men clad in orange go out and play some football tonight. Safe travels to all fortunate enough to make it to the game this weekend!

Are we still pursuing Josh Sweat even though we didn't make his cut? Or Are Jones and Butcher just victims of the fake Josh Sweat twitter page?

I would guess the logistics of it. FL does not have anyone lined up for any of the following for a Sunday game:

Officiating crewq
Grounds crew to get field in shape to play on, it was under water in pictures I saw of it.
Security, and concessions crews for any crowd that might come.
Traffic control

Most importantly if I was Idaho I would want a 2nd paycheck. So that has to be worked out. FL would want the 1st check to cover the Sunday game.

Idaho wins as the deal stands now, they got paid. Did not lose anyone to injury and got a vaca to FL out of the deal.

Both teams have an "Open Date" on October 25th. If they want to play they can do it on that date.
