Recruiting Forum: Football Talk XIII

He pissed someone off because they egged his truck last year and now set it on fire. Whoever goes so far as to set a truck on fire has real mental issue and is a danger to the public. No telling what else they have done or will do if they are willing to go to that level

Funny you mention them....

Good stuff when he gets around to the Hogville interviews.

The Springdale War thing is still one of the most amazingly dumb things college football has ever seen, IMO.

Interesting notes

Pig starting WR
Sutton starting punt retuner
Young and Evan Berry KO returners
Justin Coleman starting CB
Colton Jumper 2nd string MLB
Derek Barnett starting DE
Swafford still starting safety
Brendan Downs not in the 3 deep

I liked the rest of the SEC when we were kicking all their arses. Really only hated Florida and Bama. The rest were our b!tches!
I blame Hammy. Someone burn his truck.

I hate but respect Alabama. I HATE Florida. I did, God forgive me, go for them when they played Ohio St for reasons mentioned above, plus I really hate The overrated university.

And could not agree more with Hammy. We really screwed up when Kiffy bailed that we didn't open up the checkbook. We lost 5 years due to that.

I'm glad to see LaTroy Lewis in the 2 deep. I hadn't heard much about him for the past year. Excited to see him playing healthy

I have never been one to take playmakers out of the return game, but having Sutton returning punts is nerve-racking. Especially since we have so many viable options this year.

I think having Sutton return punts might add some excitement with the possibility of him housing one. Devrin and Carter were solid at fielding punts, but I never thought they would house one. Also, Evan Berry on kick off returns is awesome. Speed baby, speed.

I was really hoping for Moseley, Williams, or Gaulden to take the other CB spot.

Coleman actually played some good ball last year. He needs to be more consistent.

CBJ wants to get Coleman going and give him some confidence and see how he does.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the others get some significant playing time though. Coleman may or may not be starting by midseason though.

Don't like Sutton returning punts, we don't need him getting hurt doing that crap. I mean we have to have several other options. A couple freshmen could do that, or Devrin. Man I don't like that at all
