I agree. We should treat everyone like we did Misery this year. As much as I hated Spurrier he was right. Its not our job to stop us, its yours. It's easy to have sec pride when you're on top and beat the crap out of the rest of the conference like we did in the nineties. I have always rooted for whatever helped Tennessee and nothing else...............except when it comes to bammer. I enjoy a gump loss as much as i do a Tennessee win. Man i really hate them and always have. My dad wouldn't even let us eat golden flake chips when I was a kid because of it. I was just raised to hate them that much. Sorry for rambling but i just hate them that much.

The irony is CJH wasn't trying to stick it to Mizzou-- he wanted to give Milton more experience running the offense with the young players. Turns out he was right about needing Milton and the backups to be ready.

I understand wanting to give G5 schools something to play for, but it’s a real kick in the nuts for the Power 5 team that had a good enough year to earn a NY6 game.

So once we lost to UGA, we we’re doomed in the eyes of the committee..even beating SC wouldn’t have mattered..We basically had to go undefeated to make it to the playoffs..by my logic..Ridiculous!!

That being said, I’m still happy with 10-2 and ranked 7th..

I mean, LSU got boat raced by us, but two weeks ago, people were pushing for them to get in over us if they beat Georgia.

OSU got boat raced last weekend, and they’re a step away from playing for it all.

South Carolina is CFP 19 right now. It’s not like we lost to Vandy (even if it felt like it at the time).

well it makes sense, why would he stop running the offense because the 2nd and 3rd team are in, makes the reps count. It helps nothing to do that. Nebraska used to do the same thing under Osborne. You're right too, turns out we need Milton now to run this offense. I would love to beat everybody the way Nebraska did back in the day, and we can with this offense. Just need the defense to take a big step next year.
