Why do y’all think a loss Oregon gets in over us when we have played a common opponent, and they were beat by 32 more points than us on a neutral field??? I don’t get this thinking.
Sadly...I deserve it...I tell myself that it is Phil's fault for pissing me off so much...lol.Dang that sucks...
But you still get the gulag!
Lol...I went and Google him and watched a couple of vids. I remember the character from TS3 now, but I had forgotten him..LOL, I was laughing in line at Disney.
I spend waay too much time on VN, Mr PricklepantsView attachment 511271
Need TX to beat TCU
If we want championships of any kind...the road will go through Georgia. They will be this generations 90s Florida.Pretty much. We won't drop far losing to #1 at their house. Bama and Clemson loss really helped. Many have said, a loss to UG would be best case scenario to get out of having to play SEC ship game. Which would yall rather have, SEC ship appearance, or CFB appearance? Either in year 2 under Heup is nothing short of miraculous!!
There were holes all over the place...also Hendon needs to throw it at the ground towards the WRs that are getting literally mugged all the way down the field. Him not throwing it in those situations kept UGA from getting sure DPI and DH calls.
Wait until you slow it down and really watch what is going downfield...it's going to piss you off.
Also Hooker should have threw Cedric a backshoulder pass on the INT. Ringo would have had to tackle him to keep it away from him.
Maybe. I will say if we end up in one of the playoff games the environment will be different than it was yesterday which I think was one of the bigger reasons we played the way we did. OSU is definitely good but we wouldn't be playing them in a totally hostile placeIf we want championships of any kind...the road will go through Georgia. They will be this generations 90s Florida.
VN posters disdain notwithstanding....OSU could whup us too if we play like we did yesterday.
You can blah blah blah all you want, but it's the truth. Hooker didn't have anyone to get the ball out to quick on most of those blitzes. Hyatt was in the slot and had multiple opportunities to be wide open on a slant and instead was running downfield. That game plan works great against teams that don't have the talent to hang with the receivers in man, but UGA's defense is good enough that you have to take what's there and not force the issue. I'm not down on Heupel, Hooker, or anyone else at all...I'm just saying that UGA left some openings and I don't see UT not taking advantage of that in a rematch. I'm really optimistic that this offense is going to be completely ready in a rematch because UGA showed their hand and it would be foolish of Kirby Smart to do anything different the next time.Blah blah blah...I'm going to speak the truth...if Hendon hits the open plays that were there, those plays are not figments of anyones imagination, those big plays were really THERE to be made...If he hits those MAKEABLE plays...plays we make in bunches every f'n week, none of you armchair guys are griping about the playcalling...instead everyone is calling Heupel a genius for once again eviscerating a great defense by scheming wide open guys running free behind the defense.
Heupel has turned me into a spoiled brat. I want the playoffs! Really think a neutral site game with Georgia will play out differentEither way, we're basically guaranteed a NY6 bowl at worse. That is crazy on it's own. To be this far into the season and probably still making the playoff is insane for year2. I believe we are still short several scholarship players and definitely a little short on overall talent, but here we are. Finish 11-1 and Heupel is coach of the year, no doubt.
Here’s the other thing…go out and take care of business the next 3 weeks and that leaves us 11-1 with wins over 2 of our 3 biggest rivals, and a shellacking on the road at LSU. IF IF IF we get screwed over and left out of the playoffs (which I don’t think we will at 11-1 with our resume), we still play in the sugar bowl. In year 2 under Heupel after all we have endured the last 15 years, that is a MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT! As bummed as we would be to not make the playoffs, hindsight would be that is an unbelievable season and should be celebrated. Let’s breath and take care of business our next 3 games. We still have an elite team and coaching staff, so just win out baby.
