i watched LSU-Bama last night and visited Bama forum this morning.. talk about entertainment.. Saban is tired, he’s 71, Golding and O’Brian have got to go, they are going traveling because the season is over, Sankey does not want them to hire Pruitt back as a defensive coordinator, but they need to do it anyway… 😂 😂 😂

Why do y’all think a loss Oregon gets in over us when we have played a common opponent, and they were beat by 32 more points than us on a neutral field??? I don’t get this thinking.

Because they will be conference champions. There’s a difference in what the committee will do and who I think should get in.

But 4 PAC-12 teams are in the top 12 already.

Dang that sucks...

But you still get the gulag!
Sadly...I deserve it...I tell myself that it is Phil's fault for pissing me off so much...lol.

I got extremely disgusted in 05 after gradually becoming more and more pissed after the 01 SEC championship game...and then there were the embarrassing and inexcusable bad Peach Bowl losses to garbage teams...ughh..🤢🤮

I spend waay too much time on VN, Mr PricklepantsView attachment 511271
Lol...I went and Google him and watched a couple of vids. I remember the character from TS3 now, but I had forgotten him..

I wish I had a voice as smooth as Timothy Dalton..😁..sadly I sound more like Mater from Cars...I kind of look like him too..wait I am a grouchy-ass Mater..😳

Need TX to beat TCU

I would be okay with Tennessee, uga, osu, TCU

Especially if somehow osu vs uga is 1 vs 4
And 2 vs 3 is TCU vs Tennessee

I would also be okay with Tennessee vs osu. However, I want uga to have a potentially tougher playoff game.

I also want LSU to bring their best game against uga in the SECCG. I want uga to be tired, bruised and battered by the time we get to play them again.

Not asking for too much, am I? 🤔

Pretty much. We won't drop far losing to #1 at their house. Bama and Clemson loss really helped. Many have said, a loss to UG would be best case scenario to get out of having to play SEC ship game. Which would yall rather have, SEC ship appearance, or CFB appearance? Either in year 2 under Heup is nothing short of miraculous!!
If we want championships of any kind...the road will go through Georgia. They will be this generations 90s Florida.

VN posters disdain notwithstanding....OSU could whup us too if we play like we did yesterday.

There were holes all over the place...also Hendon needs to throw it at the ground towards the WRs that are getting literally mugged all the way down the field. Him not throwing it in those situations kept UGA from getting sure DPI and DH calls.

Wait until you slow it down and really watch what is going downfield...it's going to piss you off.

Also Hooker should have threw Cedric a backshoulder pass on the INT. Ringo would have had to tackle him to keep it away from him.

Yeah, I think we would have had more PI calls if we had thrown to the players being held. Of course, there was a blatant non-call at the end, so who knows. Regardless, we were out of rhythm from the start and just could not get it back. The receivers looked like they were running soft routes too, but that’s hard to see on TV.
It’s such a precision game—if you’re not feeling it, you’re not making the plays against a team like Georgia.

Maybe. I will say if we end up in one of the playoff games the environment will be different than it was yesterday which I think was one of the bigger reasons we played the way we did. OSU is definitely good but we wouldn't be playing them in a totally hostile place

Blah blah blah...I'm going to speak the truth...if Hendon hits the open plays that were there, those plays are not figments of anyones imagination, those big plays were really THERE to be made...If he hits those MAKEABLE plays...plays we make in bunches every f'n week, none of you armchair guys are griping about the playcalling...instead everyone is calling Heupel a genius for once again eviscerating a great defense by scheming wide open guys running free behind the defense.
You can blah blah blah all you want, but it's the truth. Hooker didn't have anyone to get the ball out to quick on most of those blitzes. Hyatt was in the slot and had multiple opportunities to be wide open on a slant and instead was running downfield. That game plan works great against teams that don't have the talent to hang with the receivers in man, but UGA's defense is good enough that you have to take what's there and not force the issue. I'm not down on Heupel, Hooker, or anyone else at all...I'm just saying that UGA left some openings and I don't see UT not taking advantage of that in a rematch. I'm really optimistic that this offense is going to be completely ready in a rematch because UGA showed their hand and it would be foolish of Kirby Smart to do anything different the next time.

Either way, we're basically guaranteed a NY6 bowl at worse. That is crazy on it's own. To be this far into the season and probably still making the playoff is insane for year2. I believe we are still short several scholarship players and definitely a little short on overall talent, but here we are. Finish 11-1 and Heupel is coach of the year, no doubt.
Heupel has turned me into a spoiled brat. I want the playoffs! Really think a neutral site game with Georgia will play out different

Here’s the other thing…go out and take care of business the next 3 weeks and that leaves us 11-1 with wins over 2 of our 3 biggest rivals, and a shellacking on the road at LSU. IF IF IF we get screwed over and left out of the playoffs (which I don’t think we will at 11-1 with our resume), we still play in the sugar bowl. In year 2 under Heupel after all we have endured the last 15 years, that is a MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENT! As bummed as we would be to not make the playoffs, hindsight would be that is an unbelievable season and should be celebrated. Let’s breath and take care of business our next 3 games. We still have an elite team and coaching staff, so just win out baby.

Exactly. We cannot lose sight of the fact that we are still up and playing with house money. Take care of biness the next three weeks and let the chips fall where they may for the CFP. If we get in, it is great. If not, we play in a big NY6 bowl in year two and that would be amazing in and of itself because the last time we had a double digit win season was 2007. 14 years since we won 10 or more games in a season. If we win out and have an 11-1 season and don't get into the CFP, we could still end the season at 12-1. Anybody that doesn't recognize that as an amazing accomplishment is either so far in their negative cups that they will never be happy again or a giant troll.
