Not much UT could do. The fans Burton hit wanted it to go away. They put their names out there and got a lot of hate mail. I can see why a 100-lb female running on the field looking for her sorority sisters would be scared by that. A fully-padded guy more than twice her size-- notsomuch.

It doesn’t matter. Saban and Sankey should have suspended him for at minimum 1 game. There is no reason to allow a man to hit multiple people. If they would have played a cupcake the next week he would have been suspended.

What this team is doing is dang near miraculous.

I never expected it to happen. I am only laughing at the people who thought I was stupid to be optimistic about the season. In general, being optimistic is much more fun than being miserable. If people are too fragile to hope for the best then that sucks for them.
