I said he could be decent, get us back to respectable....so someone really good would be willing to come here lol.

In reality, you should never even start to cement your evaluation of a coach, good or bad, until year 3 or 4.

Having quick success (Sumlin) is not the same as sustaining success. And failing initially doesn't mean the coach is bad (Saban's first year).

I honestly can't remember what I said when CH was hired. I'm sure I questioned the hire. Those were some desperate times back them. DW couldn't find anyone who would take the job so I like many of us felt like he went for the only hire he could get except I have a feeling D W knew what he was getting.

I was still stunned that Pruitt had failed so epically, and the fallout from it all. I was pretty much speechless, afraid to be massively wrong again, either way.
