Absolutely hate Tillman being out and it his senior year.

Hate it for the kid. Hope every other WR takes it personally and goes out and fights for him.

I have a feeling that some frustration is going to be taken out by Vols on both sides of the ball. Blood is in the water and Heupel won't let that go by the way side. By the end of the game, one of our other receivers will have a double digit catch day with multiple TD's. We don't need all of them to be heroes. If they will just do what the scheme calls for, there will be plenty to go around.

Veering off the current topic, it pisses me off that Notre Dame has recruited as well as they have given how much they have sucked. I don't like when any sucky team recruits better than us.

I have a working theory that the further north you go in the US, you have to knock off a point or two on the recruiting rankings, no matter what they say.

Florida has had mediocre (by their standards) classes in the past decade, but still has fielded a few high quality teams. Their three stars have been better than our four stars on many occasions.

Conversely, Notre Dame looks terrible and undermanned every time they line up against a truly elite school, regardless of their recent recruiting rankings. Michigan falls in that boat as well.

Ohio State is the only one that makes me pause on my theory, but I'm also not sure they'd hold up well against Bama or Georgia right now.

No Tillman...2 of 3 top RBs are banged up and the run game was already mediocre...

P Brown picked UF based on this. Hard to deny the facts.

But 15-14?!? I just don't see it. No Tillman and meh run game, we still score high 20s at least. UF offense is BEYOND 1-dimensional. AR WILL turn it over. HH will NOT.

Just can't let myself believe that nonsense. Nope, won't do it.

Lol Hubbs took UF too.

Both of the "gotta see it before I believe it" ilk. Did they not see 2016? Or what are the criteria exactly? Because Heupel's Vols have never faced Napier's Gators...so...what history?

I think Hubbs actually said “I’ll see it when I believe it” one year in regards to the UF game which is another excellent malapropism. And also quite apt and philosophical in a way.

Michigan was merely 14th in the Team Talent Composite last year and made the playoffs.

ND was 10th and went 11-2.

The surrounding teams:
#11 USC - lost to ND by 15
#12 UF - mediocre
#13 Miami - 7-5

Of COURSE they would get pummeled by the Bamas. They don't remotely recruit on their level.

Florida's "mediocre" classes were still on par with those 2. Many also underestimated Mullen's classes, which including transfers, were mostly top 10 classes. Muschamp was top 3 year in and out and he left that all for Butterteeth as well.

Like it or not, Florida has had more talent than us on paper in recent years. As of last year the gap between us was as wide as vs us and #37 Michigan St. This year it is as wide as between us and #40 Ok St. Luckily we FINALLY have the Xs and Os advantage and, at the most important position, our guy is underrated and theirs over.

Last thing I'll say, recruiting services consider regions year in and out. If anything, a few outliers may exist up in WI, MN, MI, few other areas.

Miller out, no wait, he practiced, he's in, well, no he's not anymore, game time decision, TOS saying they believe Miller out...

Richardson is not 100%, no he's good to go, he's been dinged up for two games and didn't run this last game, No Napier will run him every series, he'll run on 3rd down probably only if needed

Tillman may try and go, no he's definitely out, I saw where they may try and see what he can do the first quarter, no he's definitely not playing

Small's injury is not bad, they took him out as a precautionary, no he's dinged up and may not play, no he was available for practice, he practiced, we'll see if he plays, no he's dinged up, he'll play

Hearing Sampson's injury not bad and should be good to go, no he's dinged up and not sure if will play, no he practiced, he's dinged up, Sampson may try and give it a go...

So WTF...................................... Guess we'll see tomorrow at game time....

Screw those guys. Almost seems like they're setting themselves up to have "I told you so" moments. No big deal if they're wrong, we'll all be happy with a win. If they're right, then they act like they knew it and try to gain credibility. Self serving crap.

Vols by 60.
