Utah looked really slow outside of Moss. That BYU DL was getting minimal push and still held them to 9 points in the first half. I didn't watch any of the second half because I have work today, but from what I saw neither team scares me. And Utah is not #14 in the country. Yeah the score may say "Great win!" but that team looked slow and unimpressive. 14 points came from INT's-turned-to-TD's so that brings the actual offensive score to 16-12. Not the greatest look, but the best teams maximize potential and Utah did...albeit to a QB that looked like a deer in the headlights.
We’ll see. Generally speaking, offenses haven’t been sharp in week 1. Seems like defenses are ahead and that makes sense.

The best thing about last night is that game could very well take a lot of wind out of their sails. That was a big game for them more so than heading to knoxville

Do you guys think Cheney has as much talent to work with this year as he did last year at UGA? I mean if our o-line lives up to their respectable rankings and plays well to open up the running game and gives jg time in the pocket, I feel like our offense this year seems pretty comparable to uga last year with the exception of uga obviously having the better running backs.

Fromm - JG
Holloman, Ridley, Hardman - Calloway, JJ, Palmer
Swift, Holyfield - Chandler, Gray
Nauta- DWA
And I’m not positive about the O-line but I know we have highly ranked recruits, they just have to live up to their potential.

I honestly think we might surprise some people if we can just play up to our potential because I think the defense is in good hands as well. If we went 8-4 I wouldn’t be surprised, we just have to be ready to play every weekend cause that wasn’t the case last year.

Pulling the tailgate trailer over the mountain early tomorrow morning to Appalachian State to watch ETSU renew that old rivalry. Unfortunately, this time, ASU has a WAY different program than we do. But we are getting better. Can't wait to set up the tailgate, drink some beers and watch some football ALL DAMN DAY.

Watch ETSU win

Ehhh.. A few of our WRs and Trey Smith would see playing time at Georgia, but I doubt anyone else would on offense.

I agree. I’m not saying they would win starting jobs over them necessarily, but I feel like the skill set is closer than people might think. Im just ready to be heartbroken is all!

Anyone going to be at the BYU game?

Good morning RF friends. Tomorrow it's "Football time in Tennessee!"

Today is surgery day for my better half, my wife. A little over a year ago she had hip replacement surgery and it went really well. It went so well she's decided it's time for the other hip. So today she receives her new wonder woman hip.

So, any thoughts and prayers her way would be appreciated. Although fairly routine, anytime one goes under the knife it carries some risk so we take nothing for granted. Pray for me too as it's my job to make sure she makes it home and stays as comfortable as possible over the next few days.

You got it Bro.

And mind you Utah had zero threat of a passing attack

This is one of the main reasons I feel a lot better about this game. I think that’s what will also keep Utah from being as good as they’re being projected to be. I wasn’t overly impressed with Utah. Moss was their only threat.

So you broke her other hip huh?

Hope BYU is a competitive game. It would be good for the younger players to get pushed around and challenged, then pull away. We're playing a lot of new guys. They need to face adversity and overcome it to build confidence before UF.
After watching the game last night I have a hard time believing it'll be close after the 1st quarter next weekend.
