Should we be concerned that our class is 24th right now. I know alot of the classes in front of us have on average about three to four more recruits committed. What's y'all's thoughts ?
seems crazy doesn't it? the same prospects that could help TN (or anyone really) get to the point of winning at a high level, are saying no because TN isn't winning at a high level.we need elite players in order to compete and win at a high level in the SEC... we need to compete and win at a high level in the SEC to get those elite players to commit...
Pruitt coaches his way into 7+ wins this season and we will be fine. We just need this one year to get over the hump and have kids buy in and believe what they are selling. This will be the tough year where we will need to push and have things go our way to win some close games.
It is July... so no. Besides, we are in on a lot of elite prospects, and we all saw some of the blue chippers Pruitt and co. closed with last year.Should we be concerned that our class is 24th right now. A DB from St Louis decommitted in July and the normal cast of characters are ready to Fahr Pruitt and fire up the hot board.
Chaney helped Crompton, and that's something. However, Chaney isn't noted as a recruiter and right now we need SEC players more than anything else. I'd rather have Pittman's recruiting right now than a guy who can turn dials and flip switches to try and squeeze a little more out of JG. We're going backwards in recruiting right now. This staff has put themselves in a tight box. Hold on tight because by end of 2020 season either we're really good or we're back on the coaching search.
