Daughter got me a year’s subscription to ESPN+ for Father’s Day. Express purpose for me to watch Peyton’s Places which was supposed to premiere July 15...can’t find the episode anywhere. Anybody else have better luck?
Just turned to ESPN2 and lo and behold it was on. Just caught Peyton dressed as Elvis throwing a strike 40 yds downfield. It was pretty funny hearing him talk and call a play in Elvis lingo.

Who’s signing up for that today?

*assuming the other wins are 4ooc and candy.

Renting a house in East Nashville. 10 minutes from downtown. Go to places to eat and better to drive and park downtown or Uber or lyft

I agree with Five Points Pizza is being good. Also in the area are Mas Taco and Cilantros which are good. Mas is hard to get into because the seating area is small. Several other good places over in East Nash. You are not to far from the Germantown area across the river, and although not my stomping grounds, there area some highly thought of places over in that area.

If the line is long at Mas Tacos, walk to the other door and see if the little bar in the back has seats. We were waiting the other day and there was a long line and a worker came and grabbed us as we were the next group at the door and we were able to go and sit and order from the bar. It was perfect because we were getting margaritas anyways.

Not sure if they do that all the time but next time I go I’m gonna test it again and see. If they allow that at all times I will definitely go more.

You decide not to go back to the field.
I have a family health issue within my crew that has recently come to light and we need to work through it here with our healthcare system vs. Thailand. The decision was very much out of my hands and I’m admittedly struggling with it

Fully intend to return in July 2020. Currently sorting through the logistical nightmare of the whole thing with everything we own being in Thailand, needing to continue to rent our house there, find a sitter for our dog, probably losing our return tickets and needing a new ticket to return for a couple of weeks next month to work things out on the ground level

Tough place to be right now, but 100% the right call

Oh, that is awful, but you know there is a reason.

Prayers for the health issue and all the other issues that accompany it.

As always, you know VN has your back and will help in any way. Just say the word.

I know some people have somewhat scoffed at mentions of us being #2 in returning production. The common rebuttal being something along the lines of "but if you're returning mediocre players, then what is that really worth?" And that is where some judgments and estimations can be made to adjust for how good said returning players have been...or just let Bill C. do the leg work for us.

Bill C. applies the returning production to last year's S&P+ metric. Using this, he ranks our returning production as 28th. Fwiw he has our preseason S&P+ ranking as 21st.

2019’s projected 130-team S&P+ rankings, from Bama to UTEP
Jeremy Pruitt’s Vols might have more going for them than we realized.

  • For starters, Pruitt has recruited well. According to the 247Sports Composite, he inked the No. 21 class in FBS in 2018, then one-upped himself and signed the No. 12 class this year, despite what we’ll politely call a lack of proof on the field. Granted, recruiting has never been a problem in Knoxville, but ...
  • The Vols were crazy-young in 2018. They return more of last year’s production than any P5 team, and it would defy recent history if they weren’t to improve by at least a few points per game.
S&P+ projections are primarily made up of returning production and recent recruiting; Tennessee looks awfully good in both of those areas and therefore gets a potential boost.

There’s an obvious parallel: Georgia was mediocre in Kirby Smart’s first year, then paired heavy returning production with great recruiting to enjoy a major second-year breakthrough in 2017.

Tennessee is starting from a lot further behind. I’m doubting there’s a run to the national title game in the works. Still, Pruitt and his coaches have vastly more to work with in 2019.
