Got here in 95...EVERYTHING’s a lot different. The places we were discussing was practically inaccessible farmland.
My family has owned property in my area for generations, a mile from the lake basically in 3 directions. USED to never have any traffic because all that lake property was useless for farming and no one wanted it 😄

Hypothetical:

Would Pruitt bounce if FSU or Auburn came calling? Those are the two teams that worry me trying to poach him in the near future.

Nice info Chatt. One thing that stuck out was the 51% blue chip ratio for Pruitt’s guys. Means we are not that far off the 60% ratio @secking spoke about yesterday as the mark to strive for. If we hit on some of the non blue chippers (Simmons, Means, Solomon, etc) we could be in for some good times come 2020/2021.
According to bud Elliott, we need to get to a 50% ratio to have enough talent to make the playoffs. Pruitt is on track to reach that in two years.

Jerry Jones bought all this land eons ago. After it’s all finished, he’ll double up his billionaire status.

Yep. It was a farm town. Born in 1980. I can see my house but don’t remember what street. My parents grew up in Dallas, but we moved to Memphis when I was 4.

I have a cousin around there, my uncle is north of Lewisville, and another cousin almost in Midlothian.

Oh and I hate to be a debbie downer after such a great Friday night..... (and this might've already been discussed), but I saw on the twitters last night where Luke Fords appeal got denied. Kid transferred to a significantly worse team in a weaker conference so his dying grandfather could watch him play. And the NCAA is all 'gfy.'

Hard to feel good about Gibbs and Solomon getting immediate playing time IMO.

Probably. Never really understood why the optimism with Solomon anyway. No verbiage about homesickness or dying family members.

I’m talking about the entire roster including transfers. No doubt Pruitt is bringing in the talent needed to close the gap but it looks like it may take a couple more classes.

Yeah it is something like 37 or 38% iirc. Won't hit 50% until 2021 at the earliest imo. 2017 dragging us too much.

Fwiw blue chip ratio doesn't go off the actual roster. Just previous recruiting classes. It does not account for attrition/transfers, one of its weaknesses. More just an indicator of how well you've recruited at a "championship level".

Yeah, the trends would definitely be going against him..

Year 1: 6-7
Year 2: 9-4
Year 3: 7-6
and a brutal schedule for Year 4, where I can see them going 5-7.

Muschamp may be on the hot seat at the end of the season.

And imo that would be a rough job for someone to take too. You have Clemson annually, along with UGA, UF, A&M, and sometimes even Bama/LSU/Auburn. Pretty rough iyam. On top of that you have mid tier facilities and crap stadium.

Lucky with Spurrier, somewhat lucky with Muschamp. They are due for their Dooley.

Fwiw, I think South Carolina talent has been underrated for awhile. Maybe the success of Clemson is bringing more evaluators that way.

I agree with your overarching point, but I think they just opened new athletic facilities that are up to par with the SEC standard. But yeah, they're still second fiddle in their own state, and at their best, third in the division pecking order.

Wish in one and sh!t in the other. No chance plus we will beat the piss out of them this year at home. Mark it down

I hope so. If only we can play up to the level of the mighty Virginia Cavaliers and do what they did to the cockaroaches.
