Aint gonna lie - the "rankings" still bother me for one reason....
I'm a numbers guy, and I really hate South Carolina probably more than I should. I greatly dislike seeing them having a higher average and point total on 247. Or being rated higher than us.
I don't like them being better than us at anything - even arbitrary star/class ratings.
I realize Albright is dragging our number down, but I still hate to see it nonetheless.
they were supposed to finish 2nd in the EAst last year and this year's schedule is way more difficult.I work with a bunch of cock fans (partially why I hate that team so much) and 90% of them think they’re gonna beat Clemson and UGA this year.

So what’s our blue chip ratio? Still around 37%?Some roster notes:

- We have 13 seniors ( 3 are Pruitt’s guys – green border – JUCOs or Transfers)
- We have 26 juniors ( 5 are Pruitt’s guys – green border – JUCOs or Transfers)
- We have 17 sophomores ( 9 are Pruitt’s guys – including 2 JUCOs and all to the right of the green vertical line)
- We have 30 freshmen ( all Pruitt’s guys)
- Of the total 86 scholarships 47 (55%) are Pruitt’s guys
- 10 of the 13 seniors were rated as blue chips
- 8 of the 26 juniors were rated as blue chips
- 5 of the 17 sophomores were rated as blue chips
- 14 of the 30 freshmen were rated as blue chips
- 24 (65%) of the 37 blue chips on the roster are Pruitt’s guys (Star gazer?)
- 24 (51%) of the 47 total Pruitt guys were rated as blue chips
- 13 (33%) of the 39 remaining inherited roster were rated as blue chips
- Contributing walk-ons are in red font and not included in the scholarship counts at the top of the columns
- As far as I know we’re still waiting to find out the availability this year of A. Solomon, Gibbs, Trey Smith, and Anthony Harris.
- Presumably with an eye toward filling gaps in classes and winning NOW, Pruitt has added 10 JUCOs or Transfers that are on this year’s roster with 2 more presently committed for this next class.
- Since it was noted previously in this thread that Craig had earned a scholarship this suggests we would need to lose 1 of these guys listed if Anthony Harris makes it in. (I’m assuming George is still on the team).
- Position assignments are subject to change without notice
- Please advise if I've missed something
Of Pruitt's two classes he's signed, 21 of the 45 guys were rated as four-stars or better in the 247 composite. That's including Anthony Harris but not including Aubrey Solomon and Deangelo Gibbs. That's right at 47%So what’s our blue chip ratio? Still around 37%?
Last time I checked Georgia was at 69% and Alabama was at 77%
Not to mention the refs literally handed them 12 pointsthey barely beat us last year. Had Richmond not of been offsides/committed holding and cost us a touchdown i doubt they would of won that game. Granted we could have done more to win that game but Richmond was definitely one of the biggest factors for the loss of that game.
I’m talking about the entire roster including transfers. No doubt Pruitt is bringing in the talent needed to close the gap but it looks like it may take a couple more classes.Of Pruitt's two classes he's signed, 21 of the 45 guys were rated as four-stars or better in the 247 composite. Yeah, I'm not sure about that, but that's a good question. I would imagine it's probably slightly (if not decently) lower than that. Butch's last two classes (2016 and 2017) had a blue chip ratio of just 30.6% (15 of the 49 signees), so it depends on how many of those are still on the roster, too.I’m talking about the entire roster including transfers. Yea, we could have started by stopping the run. They gashed us..they barely beat us last year. 7/8 on both?
hard not to like the high ceiling Spraggins has, and there's no real pressure for him to have to come in and play right away....so he will have a great opportunit to develop.
Johnson...this is going to sound worse than intended, but i think he's definitely that prototypical safety/star that pruitt wants, and i'm kinda expecting most of the guys we recruit for that position to "look like" johnson....if that make sense?
and i also dont' think he'll have to come in and play right away either, so he'll get some time to develop, and provide competition, going forward.
How tf is uscjr landing stud QB's back to back years, with how crappy their offense has looked overall and their inconsistent OC situation.
And they got a near 5 star RB and lead for Tank Bigsby?
Really need them to have a bad bad year. And I get they have a tough schedule, but this is muschumps 4th year - he's had plenty of time. If you've been a coach for four years and you want to use a tough schedule as an excuse, then thats like admitting you'll never be on the level of blue blood programs.
Yep. Commits are no more than placeholders for the vast majority. We can still get excited but...Johnson already said he's taking visits and specifically mentioned aTm and LSU. Spraggins said he's "746%" committed, so 254% is probably reserved for visits. That's the new recruiting-- announce that you're committing while making it clear that you're still looking.
