Pretty obvious the NCAA needs to implement a "one transfer per career" rule.

Or just tack on years they have to sit. 2 transfers = 2 years, which means an actual lost year of eligibility.

Well Hank, I'm stealing this from the VQ guys but I'll add this about Butch.
"There was a lot less angst when he was filling the class with paper 4 stars".
Now that we're going after players that teams actually want, we are going to lose on a lot of them.

I just have to decide which I prefer, listening to posters whine when they realize many of BJ's guys weren't SEC caliber.. or listening to the same posters fret about the reality of going after true talent.

Think I prefer getting some real players but it does suck that some are going to act surprised after every.. single.. miss.

That’s just a silly thing to say that we were recruiting guys that no one wanted lol. Butch was a complete disaster after the 2014/2015 classes..... idk exactly what happened ...obviously some kind of change in scouting or philosophy (my guess behind it all is that Bob Welton had too much say over personnel some where after that because he didn’t early on and then our whole camps, visit, offers etc starting looking different. But he started out red hot which is why we were damn good for two years. And should’ve had double digit wins twice.

Realist thing posted on these forums. There are constant reminders all the time of how irrelevant most of this is, yet here I am as VN remains my go to time waster.

Kinda like how when I was big in the NFL and the draft was my favorite thing. I’d be the idiot pouring over seven round mock drafts in February, or reading scouting reports on undrafred free agents from refrigerator colleges and wondering how they were gonna be the next Miles Austin surprise superstar.

Big difference is that some of us on here understand that and don't squirt a poop biscuit every time a 17 year old commits to another school in May. Or June. The veterans of the recruiting wars understand the changing times and that it is a marathon, not a sprint. I actually love this slow building class and putting eggs in the big boy baskets. Its refreshing and will make it all the more fun come December.
