I didn't want it to matter so I never made a point of mentioning it, particularly because of some of the goofballs in the FF. I trust my peeps in the RF but the FF is well the FF.

It's simple to me. If Pruitt is going to bother giving a real answer, then he's going to be honest.
It's easy (too easy imo) to call an honest answer an "excuse" *if you're looking to criticize.

Two kinds of excuses.
1.Justify - "I have a legitimate excuse for not attending, I was in the hospital"

2. Get out of blame - "I'm sick of his excuses"

Given VN's history with the word, we know how it's used most often here. But Pruitt has said "That's on me, aight, I've got to do a better job in ____". No way I'm buying that he's an excuse maker. Just brutally honest at times.

Sometimes in life we just need a little help. By mentioning your situation, you have help (prayers) of many people. If not, it only takes a few!!!

Freak could decide to rebuild the website and attempt to launch it during the busiest recruiting weekend of the summer again. That was a interesting day to say the least lol

I much prefer that approach over Pruitt's excuses. I like Pruitt, but Plenty of teams have crap to work with and scheme and develop it (mizzou, baylor briles years, okie st, etc). Not hating terribly on pruitt, but butch got ripped for lowering expectations his own way, then pruitt says we dont have the right guys and he'll recruit over them (lowering expectations, making excuses, buying time, etc) and fans run to his side in spite of the guys playing that give their all. I just want coaches to COACH, no excuses. If you have less talent, outcoach others (like..hmm...Barnes) rather than saying your kids stink.

Barnes didn't outcoach anyone his first 2 years. Then all of a sudden he outcoached them the last 2? If i am guessing he probably didn't change how he coached. He got his players that he needed to fit into his system and developed the hand he was deal from the beginning.

That Rocky Balboa crap that he pulled in last years game.. When Warrior lit his a$$ up in the endzone, Bentley squirmed in pain for 5 minutes milking all the sympathy he could from getting the wind knocked out of him, just to triumphantly sprint off the field. I'm surprised I didn't go blind from rolling my eyes so hard. Dorkfaced 5-head.

I legit don't like the kid...his "sportsmanship" when JG had the winning TD dropped 2 years ago was a bit over the top for me.

Idk, it might not be a popular opinion, but outside of standard handshakes and hugs, I don't really like the cameras focusing intently on player-to-player interactions like that. For the sole reason that it enables sports pundits ("experts" and "analysts") to concoct narratives at varying levels of validity.
